Sadly, I never did. I always thought I would be dead by 50. Once I was caught it was like a great weight lifted off my shoulders. The pressure of being a boss and people following you is great. Larry Lawton: I want to be your friend (I'm writing from a friend's address, so don't get any ideas). Something I realized long ago is that life alone is difficult to navigate, even when working on the premise of good faith. Never mind trying to navigate your way around untrustworthy people. I fucking hate liars. Not hate in terms of wanting to off someone, but hate in the sense that I will no longer have any contact with a person who bullshits. I'm happy that the friends I have are confident that I'm not going to lie to them, and vice versa. Now, don't get me wrong --I'm not so naive that I think that basic premise will never be broken. The thing that comforts me is that my friends and I are on the same page knowing how fucking liberating it is knowing your friend "gets it." Honestly, it makes living life that much easier. Keep on keeping on, Larry. p.s. A perfect example of trustworthy friends is the fact I'm writing you from my friend's account. I'm like "hey, I want to write a note to Larry Lawton. Do you mind? "Nope, go ahead," even though she has no idea who you are. Now, if anyone tries to hack into her account, some wigs will be split!
