Zack z there are more bears in the yukon than there are humans, and bear related deaths are extremely rare, and generally the humans fault. The bears are the victims of humans, not the other way around. Get educated on bear encounters, respect the animals, you’ll be fine

Is it true that Yukon is hiring for workers from Philippines? 🤔... And one of which jobs offered by federal government is caregiving job? But wait, Many says that Yukon is just adjacent to Alaska that's why you could feel a severe hypothermia. 💦🌊🌬️
@Qui-95 жыл бұрын
Apparently there is something about hiring there, one of my friends is asking me too. They have a long very cold and short warm season, because they are far north and not a small place in the ocean near warm currents. Also because of the location, the angle and duration of daylight is strange through the year. Also, if you like road trips and what big cities have, you're out of luck. But some people do enjoy it there. Aside from the communities, everything is remote and few people around.

Please stop encouraging people to this very fragile environment. It can only handle so many people and part of its appeal is that very fragile environment which you wish to inundate with the masses. All of the flora and fauna have evolved on a semi arid country which said dryness surprises people. We get very little rain in summer and not much snow in the 8 months of winter due to the intensity of the cold. With everything relying on this system of a very small amount of precipitation, means the plants and animals live in a precarious balance with nature. Really lady, why not go back south and promote someplace that people have trashed already?

The Chola emperor Rajraja Chola wanted to conquer and takeover a hill which was controlled by a small but fierce tribe. He attacked and after terrible battle he captured it. The captive hill chieftain told the Emperor " You capture it, you can give it a name, but you can never truly own the land - the land was there before you and the land will be there after you. Its beauty shall not be tarnished by your brief stay". Do not deny yourself the pleasure of a land because of its temporary ruler. Visit Alaska, visit Yukon.
