A song from the Grenada Revolution which criticises the effectiveness of the United Nations in preventing crimes like Apartheid and Zionism from taking place despite most UN members voting against them.
Notes:
• Kurt Waldheim - The Secretary-General of the United Nations from 1972 to 1981, later found to have been an intelligence officer in the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. He later served as the president of Austria despite this.
• Calypsonian - A performer of calypso music, AKA this song's genre.
• Viljoen - Marais Viljoen, the leader of Apartheid South Africa at the time.

reminder that Kurt Waldheim that this song mentions was a Nazi officer who oversaw the Holocaust in Greece and Kurt, after being exposed as a Nazi officer who participated in the genocide of Jews, would be elected as president of Austria.

His name is Elwyn McQuilkin and he’s still active in politics, later joining the National Democratic Congress, a social democratic party in Grenada founded after the revolution. He was appointed envoy of Grenada to Trinidad and Tobago just a few months ago.
