Hi this is effie i like patoleos, i made the other day for my children,they were delicious.I also have patoleos leaves n i m going to do few on 15th of August. I live in United States n i grew them long back.

U can do it with banana leaves...it comes out good.... here in gulf too there are no Turmeric leave but i do it with banana leaves

Marline, yes you can do it with Banana leaf but you don't get that incredible aroma of the Turmeric leaves which is iconic🙂

Please mention that one has to remove turmeric leaf while relishing patoleo 😅of course for those who knew nothing about it. Recipe was nice 👍

Thank you so much for your feedback! A Goan would definitely know they have to remove the skin and discard it, but yes I'll mention it in the ingredients list so people don't eat the Banana leaf unknowingly 😀
