Amazing video. I can’t lie, I cried watching that father daughter moment after the shot. I have been hunting with my dad for 20some years. I’m now 30 and my dad is very sick so I’m afraid I’ll never get that moment ever again. So touching and she will remember that forever. And congrats on the amazing shot and harvest!

Man I miss hunting with my dad. I’m 27 now and he passed when I was 19. Our last white tail hunt was when I was 16. I now have a 15 month old daughter and another daughter on the way. This made me cry. My daughter is Bailey. She has been shooting since she was 4. Her mother had a mental episode in 2017, was hospitalized and then kidnapped her and ran away. I haven't seen her in 3.5 yrs and gender bias courts in NM have destroyed any chance of reunification. We use to hunt Squirrel and rabbits, she was a great shot. She's In an extremely abusive situation now and spent time in the hospital herself for suicide back in May. I can't afford to fight anymore. Your so lucky. This warmed my heart so much.

Just took my first elk in the Gila this year. Took me 5 years to get drawn for this unit, the buddies that I had been with had been putting in for 15 years. Good on her for harvesting that monster.

How freaking amazing! Congratulations that was an amazing shot. Plus what a lucky young lady be able to have such love and suppoet from her dad! I wish my dad would have made an effort to do anything with me. I am hoping this summer to get my daughter and self into archery with the help of my bf. My daughter has about 0 to do with her dad just myself... so it is just heartwarming to know men are out there who are such a huge part of their daughters lives.
