I must say being one of the first people to own the Ddj sx when it came out I love it but one thing they need to upgrade is a 100% pitch control. I was used to having it in my cdj 1000 mk3 and not anymore on the sx.

people, is the same thing. the only difference is that the SX2 comes with color pads and Serato Flip. The SX had a $200 rebate from Pioneer a few months ago.

George Munoz the mike inputs are far better than the sx1 and the fact thatbthe pads are color coded is a big improvement also because u can easily see which loop is what with no confusion in a dark room eleiminates guessing. and the serato flip is a game changer.. those are all great upgrades.. so the sx2is a much better controller for the money.. and i got mine on sale at guitar center during a labor day sale promo and didnt have to pay full price...so its a win all the way around for me as a mobile deejay...

I had them both. sold the SX2 because I felt they where the same. if you want color pad and all that other stuff, get the SZ. which is what I did.

Can you now lock the cue strip (needle search)? something they sorted on the sz. Also did they sort the wobble on the mixer sliders it was something that made it feel cheap, Also like the sz they put the locking slider caps on the mixer.

They said it feels that wat cause its the most used piece. And the only peice that you can change out without unscrewing the whole thing. Though to me didnt feel any different from any other one

I would definetly say to have an SX. I think a controller without a jog wheel is useless. All the big avenues and clubs CDJ's mostly. And you gotta practice with a jog wheel to get used to them if you are planning to play at a place. If not still, if you want to live the mixing, go with SX.
