Mitch, brilliant per usual. This video actually took the last bit of hesitation away from me getting on with my goals. Thanks very much for all your hard work, it's honestly well appreciated. My end goal is to make a special day bed that can be pulled out to be a regular sized one for guests. The design isn't that complicated but as I'm only just starting in woodworking it will be a moment before I can do that. I'll deffo be following your series and send in a few photos of my own efforts as I progress. Thanks much for being a presence in the world and sharing your precious knowledge, mate.

I've made the same frame structure to widen the table top of my girlfriend sewing workbench, i made it with non-standard pallet wood and i didt'n use any layout or square and only an insanely cheap electric jigsaw. The result was definitely not a pretty result, with a HALF CENTIMETER of sloppiness between the joints, i really wish your videos was made a decade ago so i could learn the beauty of precision and that you need time and patience to get good results.

At least you made one - that's more than most folks, and no doubt your next was/will be much better.
