I love Ziyi Zhang (Hu Li) in this movie. She plays a villain so well, rocks a red lipstick, and makes a great femme fatale. She was also great in *Godzilla: King Of The Monsters* as Dr. Ilene Chen and Ling Chen. Also, how can you deny the beauty and talent of the Latin bombshell Roselyn Sanchez? One of my favorite comedic parts: Carter: Just tell me how the Triads gon' kill us. Lee: They will torture us for three days. Carter: I can handle that. Lee: Then they will cut off our eggrolls. Carter: Cut off our eggrolls? Hell no! Let's get the hell outta here! Side note: Michael Jackson watched this movie around the time he was planning out his short film for the song "You Rock My World" and contacted Chris Tucker for a guest starring role and Chris stated in interviews that Michael told him "I've seen your movie Rush Hour 2, you're kickin' with the wrong leg". 😆😆🤣🤣

Doesn’t seem like anyone else has, so I’ll just drop some points of explanation: Isabella having a badge on her person actually does make sense despite being undercover; if she came across another agent or ally and needed proof of her allegiance (which is exactly what happened), she would need one, and it being on her underwear is a good place to hide it. It would just be a small badge clipped onto it, not a custom underwear job It makes even more sense for this particular scenario, since she mentioned the Triads and Reign *thought* she was a crooked customs agent-meaning even they would know she must have a badge on her since they already know she’s an agent, so she wouldn’t even need to hide it from them A good way to gauge who’s side someone’s really on is by looking at it from their point of view-if she wasn’t on Lee’s side, what would she have to gain saving her enemy that many times, especially at the end, making enemies with her allies and getting shot on his behalf As for the bullet meant for Carter, seems like that scene gets as many people as the ‘wink’ from Sang in Rush Hour 1 for some reason What happened was, Carter knew he had just a split second before Ricky would pick up the gun and try and shoot him-so his one thing he could do in that time frame is lift up the rug he was already holding so that when Ricky lifted his head up and shoots, he wouldn’t be able to tell exactly where Carter is; basically like a makeshift smokescreen Because of that, he ends up missing Carter completely, which you can see looking closely at where the bullet goes through the rug, which goes past just under next to Carter’s right armpit along with the gunpowder So it wasn’t about trying to protect against the bullet itself, it was about making him miss the shot

Spoiler: in the third movie Lee says he was an orphan and grew up in an orphanage, in the first 2 movies he implied that the "dad" he refers to is his biological dad, however, an adopted dad would be believable as in he adopted Lee than died and he grew up in the orphanage, except that Lee says here "5 years ago" meaning Lee was an adult when his dad died so he couldnt of grown up in an orphanage

15:06 That sounded like a myth to me, so I googled it, and surprisingly it can be slightly less than 2/3 intact, and it doesn't have to be sent to the US treasury. Under regulations issued by the Department of the Treasury, mutilated United States currency may be exchanged at face value if: More than 50% of a note identifiable as United States currency is present. This can be done at your local bank, and as long as they agree that it meets all the standards, you can get it redeemed.
