One skill worth mentioning for both Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley that doesn't always show up in the stat sheet: When they block shots, they tend to keep the ball either for themselves or a teammate rather than swat it into the stands.

@09:36 I agree with you 100%, most players don't know how to make post entry passes because it's not something that can easily be practiced; it's a skill that probably requires some level of game film review, playing 2k (surprisingly it can dramatically improve your game sense), and coaching. I find that most pick-up players struggle with hesitating when they see opportunities to pass, and once that 1-2 second window of opportunity passes, the defense recovers and the pass becomes much more difficult.

They made wise lottery picks post LeBron. They made trades for Allen and Markkanen that the experts questioned. Made a wise choice when they flipped Sexton and Lauri for Mitchell, by sending Young Bull instead DG. Then they scooped up a lot of castoffs that turned out to be legit. They've been at it for a minute so it shouldn't be good. Now single digit loss good, that's a surprise.

Evan Mobley is my favorite player on this team. He always seemed like a insane player once I saw how good he was at defense
@michaeldeimling487917 күн бұрын
Right now it's hard to pick a favorite on this team. Every single night someone steps up. The chemisty is so good that no one seems to care if it's not their night since it's so much fun to win (big). Young smart athltetic players on extensions seeing the bigger picture and buying in (especially Mitchell) But agree on Mobley - it's still surprising to me that the basic stat improvement doesn't show what the eyes do. He's everywhere out there. He's always been a good passer with good court feel but his handle/utilization so much higher that he's facilitating now. Everything comes in the flow of the offense and had to be coached to be just a little selfish. His touch and aggressiveness way way up this year. Seeing that superstar potential again.

this shit is really starting. to remind me of the 14/15 warriors. all season steph and those guys kept winning, in dominant fashion, just for media and fans to keep doubling down on how fraud it was. you cant win with a jump shooting team they said. you cant be led by a small guard. even thought the warriors kept showing us every night how well their play works. well the cavs are also showing us every night. only reason to doubt now is cause people never seen a team with two small guards and two 7 footers. dont be surprised if these guys are in a full 7 game series with boston

The Browns should take notes from the Cavs. All because your team have a winning season. All because they make the playoffs does not mean that Head Coach is a good Head Coach. Stefanski sucked since day one to me and I been wanting him out of here since Baker Mayfield! The Cavs Head Coach is taking what he is getting from his players and planning around that. Stefanski always been the opposite. His plan must be executed by his players and that might not play into their strengths.
