Naw Cousins has problems. See he didn't last that long in the leaque. Coach Brown was good but not great. He kinda lost the locker room with Fox. He needs to play Keon more but he hardly instead Huerter gets the minutes.

Lifelong diehard Suns fan here. Feel like you make multiple invalid claims. First, Denver did not make “quick work of us” on their title run. We were the only team in the playoffs to beat them twice in the postseason that year. Yes the final game was a blowout, but we win that series we easily take the heat. At that point we should have strengthened our squad and not put our chips in Beal. We would be in an exponentially better place last season and now. However moving cp3 was the right decision but the wrong trade. He was washed and extremely glass when the season dragged on into the postseason at that point and we just got fucking destroyed and memed on by the mavs we had to shake some things up after that embarrassment. We also are definitely NOT longing for Ayton or Biyombo lol. I get it’s probably a joke but Ayton is equally as shit as Nurkic. And us suns fans are happy Ayton is gone regardless of having Nurkic rn. Lastly. Yes we are not good rn. So far Beal off the bench is providing wins but obv we need to shed him and Nurkic and actually build a roster or we are doomed. Here’s the reality. We aren’t getting butler and I couldn’t be more thrilled for that. The fact that we were going to give him a 2 year extension after trade taking him to 37 yrs old at a whopping 60 mil a year is pathetic. Thankfully nobody wants Beal. Butler is a quitter, and he’s just too old. We need parts to the puzzle, not another head on Mount Rushmore. Here’s what’s going to happen.Nurkic we have a decent chance of moving by deadline. Just a feeling something will happen there even tho he’s ass. And Beal we are stuck with. To sum up. We’re fucked for the foreseeable future unless Beal fully accepts buys into his new role and team chemistry/locker room is solid. I just don’t see it being that smooth tho. When you’ve been a suns fan as long as I have…. Yeah. You’d get it too

I think a lot of teams forget how much Chris Paul raises the floor not only because he's a top 5 PG of all time, but because even in his twilight years he's an invaluable vet that teaches his colleagues so much and makes most people around him play smarter. The Spurs landing him is going to be so impactful in developing their younger core and Phoenix really did mess up in trading him away with disregard and forgetting how bad they were before he joined the team.

Tyus Jones > Westbrook... If you add WB to a roster with KD, Beal, Booker, then you're not playing to Westbrook's strengths. Tyus is there to set up offense and facilitate. Tyus also play better defense. Westbrook have one of the worse defense in the league.

Ngl i used to feel bad for booker but after the way Luka treated them like a jv high school team in that game 7 I lost all respect, he should been picking him up full court as soon as it was clear he was getting hot, that was one of the most pathetic performances from a team in any games let alone game 7 of a playoff series

KEVIN DURANT IS THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYER OF ALL TIME, GUY HAS DONE NOTHING BUT PISS AND MOAN. SCREW HIS TEAMS OVER AND MAKE IT ALL ABOUT HIMSELF. ONLY HAS A RING CAUSE HE JOINED A TEAM THAT DIDNT NEED HIM TO WIN. THEN HE JUST COMPLAINS AND THINKS HE DOESN'T GET THE RESPECT HE DESERVES. ITS DISGUSTING AND IN HIS MIND HE REALLY REALLY REALLY THINKS HE JUST SO GOOD. GUY IS A RENTAL FOR EVERY TEAM HE HAS EVER BEEN ON AND HAS LEFT THEM WORSE OFF THEN B4 HE WAS THERE AND HAS THE BALLS TO GET IN THE FACE OF TEAMMATES. GUY IS JUST SUPER CRINGE AND DOESN'T EVEN REALIZE IT. HOT GARBAGE AND IS SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY

You can have all the talent in the world but if not one is a proven leader and winner then you will never succeed. Booker is a great talent but not a leader by any means, guy never won anything until Chris Paul showed up. Durant is probably one of the best scorers of all time but is not a leader not an alpha. Needed Curry for that. Beal is the same. Ton of talent but no real leader. Look at the top teams they all have their alpha the guy players get behind, Shai joker Tatum Luca this guys are the reason their teams succeed and fall. The suns have no one of the caliber

As a suns fan… trading for KD was the beginning of the end. Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson “the twins” were loved in Phoenix and were the high level role players that had come into their own and their ascension made the suns contenders along with the arrival of CP3. We gave up an organically built YOUNG core to ring chase and that was the problem. I would have rather kept the core intact and contended for the next 10 years with the hopes they would have broken through once or twice for a championship (hopefully)… microwave championships is not a recipe for success in Phoenix. Time to blow it up. Trade everybody, including Devin Booker

If you look at it closely the trade for Bradley Beal wasn't nearly as damaging as the trade for Kevin Durant. The Suns didn't give up any first-round picks to get Bradley Beal though they did give up multiple pick swaps. Still those things probably won't matter for a while because the Wizards aren't going to be better than the sun's for a long time. Well actually that may not be true. Lol. What is really damaging is when you put the Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal trades together and look at all of the draft assets that are now unattainable. They basically have no draft picks whatsoever so I don't know how they're going to be able to rebuild unless they tried to get their draft capital back by trading Kevin Durant now. I think they could still probably get three first-round draft picks back but I don't know what team it would be that would take on that deal. I think some teams would though. This team is going to be a complete and total disaster within a year or two. Also I don't know how they're going to be able to get Bradley Beal to agree to a trade and if they don't do that then they have nothing available to them this season.

1. Ayton had to go, he was very clear that he didn't wanna be here. Maybe if Robert Sarver extended him before he was a RFA things would be different, but he had to go. 2. Ain't nobody missing Bismack. Not on the court at least, he is solid as a human being. 3. You're right about CP.

It is very easy to predict if a "big 3" or "superteam" is going to work. Look at the ones that worked and those that didn't. Successful big 3s: MJ's Bulls, Timmy's Spurs, KG's Celtics, LeBron's Heat, Steph's Warriors What do they have in common? 1. A definitive leader/Alpha who sets the emotional/psychological tone; they all buy into their roles 2. at least one "glue guy" who will do whatever is necessary to win and doesn't care about personal glory 3. differential skill sets 4. Brought together by choice or organically Unsuccessful big 3s The Kobe/Nash/Dwight Lakers, "The Process" Sixers, KD's Nets, KD's Suns, Kawhi's Clippers What do they have in common? 1. Who is the alpha/leader? There is some disconnect between where they all are psychologically 2. Injury and or commitment concerns from more than one player 3. Overlapping skill sets, at least two of the players are basically the same player 4. Brought together through duplicity or sacrificing the team's future

Most championship teams in this league are built off patience. You’ve gotta let the team grow. Yes, you can make moves and they can win a chip shortly but think about it, how often does it happen? That 08 Celtics team….. yeah that’s it. I’m not talking about a team who makes deep runs and makes one move like the raptors. Even the Heat needed a year to grow together.
