Not really short, the season started mid August to give way for any delay or cancellation due to Fires, COVID, etc

@@GetSportsFocus why is the football scene in NorCal so weak compared to SoCal. Too many Newsom supporters up there lowering the quality of football or what?

@@ArryRedknappQPR I think the lifestyle is more long term career oriented especially here in the Silicon Valley. There are more options for kids other than Football or sports in general. So while SoCal kids spend all year training, kids up here have extracurricular activities, vacations, community services and AP courses to worry about. It would be nice to see the stats of how successful, career wise, NorCal HS students end up being compared to SoCal. I don’t think Gavin Newsome, Trump, Biden or even the local Mayor have any major or minor impact on how high school football is or the quality or weakness of it is in the NorCal or SoCal region. I mean, we up here gave the world, including you guys down there, Google, UBER, KZbin, Tesla, Twitter, EBAY, PayPal, Netflix, Apple, Pixar, Lucas Ranch,Adobe, and I guess Facebook or META, just to name a few. We’re also represented by Tom Brady, Steph Curry, Jerry the GOAT Rice, so that three GOATs, BEASTMODE, LINSANITY, Davante Adams, Pat Tillman, the Warriors and 49ers, the Giants, Money Ball Billy Bean, Willie Mays, Jose Canseco, Stanford, Cal, SJSU, Lawrence Fan, Crazy George, Tommy Smith and John Carlos, Joey CHESTNUT, Santa Clara Brandy Chastain-GOAT, De la Salle HS 151 streak GOAT and the Serra Padres who are very capable of pulling off the GREATEST UPSET IN HS HISTORY. Oh and remember when HS sports came back earlier this year, the man responsible for that is Coach Patrick Walsh, he’s actually the head coach at Serra, Tom Brady and the school board hired him back in 2000. So yeah…😉
