@CeruleanRogue5 жыл бұрын
Agreed, I really don't think he should go to anyone else given how he's cleaved so tightly to Elisa. Wyeth seems like he'll be good no matter where he ends up because of how gregarious he is. But my biggest fear is that Eton is going to end up being bidded upon by someone more interested in his looks who isn't ready to take on the huge commitment he's going to bring. It seems like he has a pretty real chance of regressing if he isn't picked up by the right person.
@airdriegirl15 жыл бұрын
@@CeruleanRogue I couldn't agree more or someone who may do one wrong move and all trust is gone me personally when I watch him with elisa, you can see he see's her as his rock plus his soul mate. I'm just nervous of him going straight back to how he was at the beginning of his journey when he hasn't got elisa there who you can see he is so attached to her, it's amazing to see how far he has came along and you can see elisa hard work is paying off he had no trust to begin with and now look at him he's so majestic the way he trots and holds his head so high when he stands is the most beautiful sight. the day horses came to be on this earth is the day the words majestical and beautiful was created
@airdriegirl15 жыл бұрын
Also I fear he will lose all trust in humans again as he lost his family the day he was taken from the wild separated from them and now he has elisa he has someone he can trust again and once he is bidded off he will lose another person I know this is what's supposed to happen this is what she signed up for but dreams also comes true for animals 😉 wyeth can be your mustang makeover horse and I feel deep down Eton was brought to you for a reason elisa he has such an amazing nature about him and I'm sure everyone can agree you can feel it from the other side of the screen when you watch him how gentle his nature is when he softens up I hope maybe we can all come to elisa in her dreams and all repeat keep Eton elisa keep him 😂

His look in the round pen had such a "uh ok human" vibe to it, it was pretty funny. And as much as I enjoy watching Wy kinda breeze through everything like a boss, Eton's progress hit a personal chord as a person with pretty much no self-esteem. It's like watching a horse version of myself trying his best and moving forward - maybe at a slower pace than his peers, but the progress remains steady nonetheless, and the way you handle him is great. I wish people were more lile that towards each other tbh.

How weird do you think horses think we are? xD
@leonslionessnz48675 жыл бұрын
I think horses think humans are strange creatures but they get used to our strange ways and see us as their friends and leaders. One thoroughbred I had in my youth looked at me with a puzzled look on his face every time I sneezed. He thought it was a fascinating sound and wondered what it meant.

He's really coming along nicely Elisa! He figured out the ball so fast and really doesn't seem to mind you on his back at all. I echo others in saying I hope you keep him. You are so brave...and so is Eton. He really likes you. You are his world and isn't he the lucky boy. When I think of the possibilities of someone hard breaking this horse it makes me sick at my stomach. He deserves your chance to become the wonderful partner to a human. Not the slave, the friend and partner. With you training him he has a real chance at a good life.

Eton! He doesn't mind you getting on him at all. He trusts you. You should keep this little black horse. You have a bond with him. He has a fantastic trot i can imagine him pulling a nice cart with a trot like that he would be an amazing little harness horse. Trotting out with his long black mane flying in the wind! Barry Hook the harness driver from England would love him! However Eton being so reactive may never accept something behind him. He is doing well this time at the equestrian center and seems to have forgotten about the last visit there! It is a testament to his sweet nature him not trying to get away from you again!

I’ve enjoyed every one of your Mustang stories, watching their progression is so brilliant, I hang out for them every day. While Wyeth is 100% the horse I would want, Eton is exactly the horse I have... You’ve reminded me of some very basic things I could be doing with my sensitive delicate flower (quiet riders vs nervous horses etc) so I’m hopping around like a fruit cake when I lead my horse... yep. Totally normal. Watching this little guy come so far and at such a different pace to his counterpart has been a great example of how each animal needs his or her own custom training... you’ve done so well. Kudos. You’ve taught him to trust and how to learn (some like Wy already know how to learn!) and set him up to succeed - as others have said - let’s hope his new home know what they’ve got ahead. It’s not easy!

I was so concerned when he managed to get away from you twice yesterday...... oh dear now he's learnt that he can do that.... But.... there was something about him at the end, after you got up from the ground - it looked different and I wondered might the opposite have happened - that he scared himself when he was running around and realised he was happier to be close to his leader. Thankfully, he is just brilliant today!

Way to go Eton... He is going to be a really good boy when your done with him! He has attached himself to you... I have never trained a horse but I want to and I am planning on adopting a mustang! I have had a few people tell me not to, but the way Eton has become so attached to you, the way he just wants to make you happy, is the reason why I want to train my own mustang! When the first person that comes into their life, they make a connection, so when another comes along, they will not have that same connection! Horses get attached to people, like we can get attached to them! I want that connection with them! Sorry, you have to start somewhere... And there is alot of great trainers with videos to show how to do it! I have owned horse before, it has been a little while but I have no problems putting the work in to having and training my horse! Awesome job!

I’ve had him genetically tested and he is homozygous black. However, I had to treat him for ulcers and I’ve found with the blAck horses, they can turn reddish in color because of ulcers and not absorbing their nutrients. . He’s about to shed out all of that crappy color.

At 11:57 (and right before then) he even put his near ribs towards you, turning towards the right, and making it easier for you to hop on. He did that on purpose I think. Maybe when you’re up there it’s like you can look out for his back end, the spot behind him kind of thing, where he’s usually worried about. Kinda like you’re bringing up the rear when you’re up there. I wonder.

I find it interesting that he seems so unconcerned with this part of the process compared to how he's reacted to a lot of other things.
