Great series! We are similar in that I'm AA and my wife's mother is from Ghana and still has property there. I've never been and we're looking to go there for a while in the near future. Can't wait!

In the states, no more sims cards worries, when purchasing an IPhone, all data, pics are transferred within a minute or so.

Yes, please move to Ghana! You will not be disappointed. Watch more of this channel to receive great information. For the couple producing this channel, try looking at each other less- look at the camera more. Not trying to be mean just good advice.

Great content. I love your videos. They are super helpful. Please if possible let us know what the steps are for getting a nonresident Ghanaian Id. I know doing a video requires a lot of planning and energy so If you just give us bullet-point written steps in this comment area that would be good enough. Love you two. Please keep doing what you are doing. You are a Beautiful family ❤. Thanks for sharing.

Yes I just went through this to renew my non citizen identity card. The place was packed like sardines in a can😝. Lucky for me I was just renewing mines and had a friend who worked there and help me out pretty quickly. I also had to register my MTN phone chip with a finger print. So I’m good for a year. But I also have a resident permit so I don’t know if that makes a difference.

I use my US T-Mobile phone plan there and it works flawlessly. They give unlimited free data and texting internationally on all of their plans and if for some reason I need faster speeds I can purchase that by the day or days. Do you think they're about to deactivate foreign phones and service plans starting in April too?
@melissadotson7702 жыл бұрын
I have T - mobile too. Sense visiting Ghana 2016 I never used a ghana phone. For me its not useful in my situation , I stay in contact using what's app with my family. Im getting the ID card when I come in April. I need to have this Ghana # register for my business location.

ok, im a tad curious and have a question! If a Ghana Sim is needed after 31 March, will we be able to contact you or others once we touch down in country for pick-up from our current phones, considering we wont have a Ghana Sim?

West Africa...especially GHANA AND NIGERIAN...has internet crime iuesses..phone numbers registration is supposed to help with combating crimes...sometimes there's method in the madness.

This SIM card registration is very good. It will prevent a lots of mobile phone fraud in the country. We have some people from some Ecowas country living in Ghana, but they will not obey to the rules and regulations of Ghana. The only thing they are interested in is fraud and scamming. At least this will help to curb some of that. So they can trace a phone number that is used for fraud, through the Ghana card to the owner of the number. Good job Ghana.

Bring your phone to Ghana and try it out. If it doesn't work, purchase a sim card in Ghana.

@@gusmotorsports @Andy Gussie I'm here in Ghana...phone works...internet very slow...other than that...ok...Question...if I did need the sim card does it means I would have to change phone providers?
@gusmotorsports2 жыл бұрын
@@joyblackmon4771 most likely you will have to change phone providers. in Ghana your only options are MTN, Airtel Tigo, Vodaphone and a few others.
