Not activating the swuad rallier so you draw the heroic reinformance is a 300 IQ play

Reinforcements with flash creatures on previous turn is a nasty combo.

I’ve never seen someone get mana flooded as often as you.

Squad Rallier is good though.

Paul Cheon’s streams consistently prove this, especially in WB.

Always nice to draft a good planeswalker for your deck, even nicer to play it, but we can't have everything i guess

Goblin surprise seems like it would have been better than the dino guide. Didn't end up mattering too much, but I dont think drawing it would have felt good at any point in those games

surprised to hear your comment about holding full control and it not doing much. In a high stakes match letting your opponent know you have a burst lightning or a luminous rebuke etc can be what decides the game.

For some reason I'm the opposite. If I play green in this I win and if I don't I get ran over generally.

You mean literally ? Ran over ? That would be kind of funny 😅

30 minutes for 4 best of 3s? Speedrun no problem!

Funny I started off 0-1 into 3-1 too Sadge for me won my first match of draft two and was up a game for match 2, but I either slightly misplayed or my OP just outdrew me (never for sure know which as there were some close lines). Here’s hoping you didn’t end up with the 15k gems booobie prize like me

Jeez. Can we get some lower in this set? 🤣🤣

I think 17lands makes me draft worse, you can’t really take it too seriously because it’ll overrate each card based on how good the color identity is. And even then, generally if a color is wide open no matter which color it is you want to draft it.

Idk I’ve drafted some open green decks and it always feels bad, even when you get the good green cards.

Been playing drafting for 20 years and 17lands did in fact make me a better drafter. The key is having enough drafting experience to critically interpret the data as well as thinking about human factors that can affect the quality of the data. To take one example, cards that have more decisions, particularly when those extra decisions enable poor choices you couldn't make otherwise, always perform worse than they should. Sometimes an extra line of text that should be all upside in fact makes a card perform worse in the data, because players often go out of their way to try and get that upside when they should just be playing on curve. You can only get this type of information by playing enough games to see how other players are utilizing the card and comparing win %'s by top vs. all players. But it's an incredibly useful tool if used thoughtfully.

When nobody drafts a color it can become good ( I assume this was a real draft event with 8 humans passing the packs)
