Very few people (even in Japan) have seen this film. Definitely a weird and fun movie. Keep the reviews coming man!

Also, trying to think of a weirder Japanese film than this... but the only films that come to mind are two more Beat Takeshi films. "Takeshi's" (2005), "Glory to the Filmmaker!" (2007), & "Achilles and the Tortoise" (2008)... those aside, I can also recommend some very weird giant monster flicks from Japan as well as some strange and fun stuff from China. Cheers!

I'll have to check those out sometime. A recent weird Japanese film I saw was 'Symbol (Shinboru) released in 2009. WOW.
