Congrats Calby! The BBP is such a solid card. 10k is pretty good CL too! I think when I first got mine I got $6k, but of course, you can transfer credit limits around if you have other business cards 👍!

I feel bad for CJ, but it does seem $10k is a pretty standard starting limit on this card for whatever reason. He'll be there in no time though.

Can you use this card on personal spend? I heard business cards should only be spent on business related items.

You can; I've mostly put personal spend on my business cards. However in the terms they can cancel your card for this behavior, but it hasn't happened in the 9 years I've had business cards. Definitely if you only put business spend on business credit cards makes it easier when tax season rolls around. But in my opinion, I don't see a problem putting personal spend on business cards.

Nice! Congratz!! So there are two rules 1 in 5 and 2 in 90. The 1 in 5 rule says that you can only be approved for 2 Amex cards within 5 days; so I would wait to apply after or on the 6th day. Then the 2 in 90 rule says you can only be approved for 2 Amex credit cards within 90 days. These rules don't apply to charge cards and some people have actually beaten this rule. However, to be safe, I would wait 6 days.

​@@gsctrading7215 Personally I don't lock my credit reports. But if I did, I would just open them all up just incase. But it shouldn't hurt if you had to apply again if locking them causes you not to be approved; in my opinion.

The BBP has treated me super well. I got a $7k CL when I applied for 6k Rev & $500 spend. My Business prime I got $8k. Also if you didn’t know, AMEX let’s you abbreviate your business name. So it’s my name & under it Is my initials. It’s great since my name is so so long. My reason for doing this is b/c since it’s a sole prop, it has to be your fully legal name, at least I was told that by a AMEX Rep & Chase banker when I applied for my inks
