Getting Around New Orleans International Airport (MSY) - Full Airport Guide and Tour

With nearly fifty year-round destinations and a dozen airlines, MSY and its brand new terminal continue to grow in national prominence and importance. This tour covers the airside and landside areas of the terminal, ground transportation, airlines and services at the airport.

@MilesByFoot it was so outdated. I'm glad they built a new one it would cool if they combined the two and added a terminal rail system. But typical New Orleans 🙄

@@killerbees177bro yes agreed, KMSY is also my home airport..wish they renovated the old terminals so we could have 60-70 gates instead of 35. I still love our new terminal though 😎

Rental car shuttle, at this time, takes a bit as it goes around to the old terminal area where the rental car facilities are still located.

How is this airport nicer than most major cities?

A) The terminal is very new, only about 5 years old. B) The new terminal experienced lower-than-expected traffic in its first couple years due to COVID. Both of those things, combined with a solid airport plan, make it a really modern airport!
