Not sure if you are aware, but if you use Facebook there is a page called Jobs for American Medical coders that you can join (in case you wanted to look for employment outside of your local area) There is a lot of drama on the page but they have all sorts of jobs listed in the files section if you wanted to check it out!

When they say your name must be exactly as it appears on your forms of id? My driver's license has my first name, middle name and last name while my credit card has my first name, middle initial and last name. Should I include the middle initial on my AHIMA application or will it be disqualified? My account at AHIMA is just my first name and last name. Or is it with Pearson Vue that your credentials must match up?

Phil Adams you just have to worry about your first and last name, they must match on your ID and on the application, they don’t bother with the middle initial/name

This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "certified professional coder" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Lukesey CPC Carnage - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
