I love that in this, you don’t try to negatively bash the other person, you’re quite literally just explaining what happened, the facts. You’re so well spoken, and I think it means SO much to see you open up about it like this for everyone to help us understand. I think it’s amazing you recognize people have followed your life for so long, it means something to let us into something this personal and intimate but that’s what’s so beautiful about it. Most KZbinrs would try to hide it sweep it under the rug and not talk about it atall, as if it never happened and leaving their fan base kind of confused. You aren’t afraid to sit in the moment of this, for us. You’re amazing and this was a wonderfully put video. You’ve done so much and it’s incredible. You picked yourself up and have gotten to where you are today. I know the story is sad but the message of you opening up to us and being vulnerable is so special. 🙏🖤

I’m proud of you for moving on! I got cheated on during a 5 year relationship when I was 19 and was still involved with this person for two years afterward because it was so hard to let go of someone who was all I knew for five years. Those two years were the hardest years of my life full of awkwardness of not knowing what we were and always being put in a spot where sometimes he didn’t want to be in a relationship but still kept me stringing along. And also never trusting him! Finally I realized I was worth so much more than that, and I cried my eyes out for a day and the next day I got up, dried my tears, and never cried for him again. I had to come to terms with the fact that the person that I created in my head was not him, not reality. Luckily, he had shown me that for a long time so by that point, I had already mourned the loss and was fine. I really enjoyed finding myself after we broke up and it bugged him so he begged for me to come back and the most liberating feeling was being able to look him in the eyes and just say “no” after it had been him doing that for years. Anyway, this was really long and I just wanted to lyk you’re not alone. I firmly believe that being single at this period in our lives is honestly so important, at least for a little while :) PS We had just moved in together too and got a cat! Must be a thing that they do lmao

I wear my heart on my sleeve but it took me forever to realize that no matter how much love I’ve given, not everyone is deserving of it. I’ve been treated like trash from a majority of the people in my life and not even relationship wise but I still kept on giving & giving and just being there whenever anyone needed me but I realized the same people I would’ve done anything for, never thought to do the same for me. i was in a relationship for 5 years and was cheated on throughout it. there’s not much to say when it happens, you go over everything in your head wondering if it was something you did: it’s so hard to let go of someone even after that because you still hold so much love for them and hope it will change. i stayed for so long after even everytime it happened again. you explained it perfectly. it’s hard to let go of something you wanted so much with someone. sometimes the partner you started dating becomes someone you don’t recognize anymore and the way you touched on that was spot on. you handled the situation the best you could and were so mature about it. what social media and the public sees versus what happens beyond close doors is always so important to consider. even throughout the last year you never bashed her name even with all the drama and assumptions and that says a lot about your character. i can tell you are a very genuine person and i know great things are coming your way. and i hope you find that special someone ❤

And he never did for 3 years until recently. And he told me 4 months after it happened during a fight to hurt me. So even during those 4 months I was still saying “wow I appreciate you so much you’re such a great partner I love how honest, trustworthy, you are and our relationship is. So looking back I feel absolutely stupid because while I was saying that during those 4 months he would say “yeah of course baby I love you I got you”. I think the biggest lesson to learn is when you get cheated on, it not always about you or something you did per say, but there's obviously something that the person who cheated is going through or just them in general. It'll hurt, but you can't blame yourself for someone else's actions nor can you change it. By the way: I was cheated on and my engagement ended after 5 years with someone, so things at first wasn't easy and I had the same issues as Jordan. When you should heal yourself first.

Jordan! everything you spoke about was everything I have once felt or been through and I felt like you were telling my own story. i hope you know how extremely respected you are for speaking the truth about what happened. especially for your own self. it truly is so hard when you give someone the world, bend over backwards for them, and be let down. i once had the mid set that i treated my ex so well that he would never do me wrong. sadly sometimes no matter how well you treat someone, it’s not always going to be equal and that was the hardest lesson i had to learn. being with someone for so long and being cheated on .. its so much easier said than done to just walk away. the talks of future, adventures, etc. feels like a lie and makes you question, where did I go wrong? but the truth is you didn’t. for some its an easy plug to pull but for others not so much. i hope you know you didn’t owe anyone an explanation on what happened let alone the internet but you are mad respected for feeling like this is a story that could help others. i promise you it will. i felt alone in my situation and embarrassed to tell people. its important sometimes for your mental health to be able to express your feelings and the things you have been through. heres to new chapters and new beginnings for you. 👏🏼❤

Jordan... First off Kudos for having the balls to finally open up and share something so personal with people that honestly don't really even know you... this of course includes me!! LIFE HAPPENS and while we don't need validation for any reason other than the final step to complete closure... it's having to be completely vulnerable to totally strangers. MAD RESPECT FIR THAT BRUH... In closing (my opinion..not that it matters) there was nothing selfish about how easy or fast you moved on... we're all human like you said and deal with our struggles, trials and tribulations on our terms.... there is nothing selfish about that... and lastly... choosing your friends wisely while having an unconditional positive friendship you definitely chose 2 of the most authentic.. caring.. honest people to surround yourself with. J80. Wishing you the best life has to offer. Peace!! MG

You did not deserve that at all. She lost a good guy for sure. One day you’ll find a girl with the same values as you.

The first time I followed you was because you were so genuine and this time around is the same. You’re genuine and honest Jordan and people like you because of that and not because you were in a relationship with someone in specific ! :))

I’ve kept up with you before and after the relationship. I definitely had the feeling about this but I was trying to give her a benefit of a doubt - all I can say is, you deserve better and you deserve the happiness you try to give everyone. Very proud of you J.

This has been one of your best videos in a long time, Jordan. And yeah, it did seem like you had a period where you were putting her above yourself. Glad to hear you're over it. Thank you for clarifying, I always wondered what happened there. Looking forward to your new adventures!

I love how genuine this video is. Thank you for talking about logic thinking, I’m a very logical thinker towards a lot of things and I constantly go back and forth between logical and emotional thinking. We think very similarly, so I related to this a lot. Thank you so much for sharing this. Go live your best life!

I relate with everything you experienced! And I agree completely it’s better to forgive, learn and grow from any situation. I also feel it’s so important to let everything out instead of just holding things in.

I agree. Being mad at someone definitely makes it easier. I'm sorry that you went through all that pain, but so happy you're doing better now. I genuinely really enjoyed your videos even before the relationship, I hope you can bring some of that energy in a different way back into your channel :))

You are such a respectable person and I've always thought that. We are here for you always. Thank you for showing me that it's okay to be selfish to grow as a person.
