I just recently got diagnosed with PCOS and my friend told me to watch this video. Pretty sure it started over ten years ago. I'm the opposite though, extra prolonged periods and cramps. Which really sucks. Alafu the hairy part I always blamed my dad :D Not to mention oily skin, and serious and i mean SERIOUS mood swings. It's so weird that there's not so much information going on about PCOS, but i'm SUPER GRATEFUL for content creators who choose to educate people on these kinds of things. So THANKS girl :) :) It's nice to know its common and manageable.

This was actually really informative to watch. I have a few friends with PCOS and as a guy, you really don't think about it... But videos like these really put what women go through into perspective. And its not just the PCOS, even the cramps, the taking 4 painkillers... we really don't understand what that's like. It's nice to hear other people talk about it.

One of the common symptoms of PCOS is uncontrollable weight gain usually caused by insulin resistance .eliminating high glycemic foods as well as going diary and gluten free will greatly help with weight loss also over exercising is not recommended , slow weighted workout that do not mess with your cortisol levels will be more efficient than tiresome fast cardio I hope this helps somebody 🤍
@lynnwanjohi5573 жыл бұрын
i can attest to this...i fluctuate between 114kgs,104,100,98 especially when im stressed i add weight by the minute....working out and cutting out gluten has been good not only for my physical health but also mental health,i also sleep better.

Regular and healthy sleep schedule, cut off processed food and especially sugar, avoid carbs try go on a natural diet , search diet options for pcos they are very affordable. Also save up gather enough money to see a Obgyn and find out if it’s insulin resistant based pcos, if so you’ll need a very strict diet cz it could lead to diabetes.

I thought I was the only one who had PCOS because I've never heard people talk about it, I really got depressed because of it, irregular periods, lots of acne and even the medication didn't help. I was prescribed by my gyno to take some fertility pills for 3 months and I was happy that I was getting my periods those 3 months but once I stopped taking them, I didn't menstruate for like 3 months then the 4th month I started bleeding but there were no cramps and the bleeding wasn't heavy like the period one is and it lasted for almost a month so I had to go back to my gyno again and she prescribed some pills to stop the bleeding and she told me that I had to continue with the fertility pills to regulate my periods because I wanted to get pregnant but I wasn't ovulating, that's when I found it might be pcos but she told me hormonal imbalance is the main cause of me not ovulating. Since then I've been thinking that I'm the only one with this condition. But thanks wahura for sharing your story 🙏🏽
