"Nobility or the rich would wear suit, made from many kind of material. It is elegant, simple and easy to wear, usually it is worn to formal events, such as parties. Although many also wear it to work, as many workers of this time need not to go out under the scorching sun, but facing a computer for many hours of the day. A man on his own can wear asuit without any help in less than 15 minutes. However, a wife's help is sometimes given, both to speed up the process and to strengthen the marriage. If a man feels not too safe, he sometime would wear a kevlar vest underneath his suit. Not enough to stop high caliber bullets or arrow, but it's enough against pistols and knives. He then polish his shoes. Made out of leather, these shoes are sometimes different in color to the suit, giving the wearer some accent."

Whenever I hear about gentrification in urban areas, I think of the dip shits who are actually buying (getting into huge debt) bubble inflated houses or ridiculous rental price apartments literally dressing up in 18th century wigs just like the guy in the video. They needed to complete it with the sword, cane, and monocle. Maybe a shirt with a watch bob and have them taking a stroll down the empty streets and closed out retail because everyone's left that part of city.

I own an American style late 18th-century suit (circa 1780) that I had professionally made, using the greatest degree of historical accuracy possible, but without requiring that it be hand-sewn. It's brown wool with a yellow cotton waistcoat, and I wear it with a black tricorn hat. All the pieces are worn exactly as described in this video. It does take a while to get dressed, but not really much more than getting formally dressed in a modern day suit. Though I don't wear it often, it is fun to wear -- and I know I look good based on my wife's behavior towards me when I'm wearing it. If you have roughly $500 lying around and you don't know what to spend it on, I highly recommend acquiring one.

Not at all. Changing undergarment was very important for basic hygiene. While they bathed much less than we do, they changed underwear surprisingly frequently. Contrary to modern belief cleanliness was of serious importance, particularly for better off people. Changing the shirts was the basic means of avoiding body fluids and therefore strong smells. They didn't like stinking, just like we do not like now.
