Getting Harder Acceleration! - MK6 GLI Pendulum & Dogbone Mount Install

My MK6 VW GLI accelerates hard but needed an improvement. This video will show you how to install the APR Performance pendulum mount and 034Motorsport dogbone mount with upper and lower inserts. With the new performance mounts, wheel hop is gone and my GLI accelerates way harder!

Thanks! It increased the vibration for sure but nothing unexpected. I didn't mind the slight increase in vibration and cabin noise, it was a tradeoff for increased acceleration

Did u have to do the pendulum mount? I heard of the stock one breaking with just an insert, but not a lot of info out there

It’s more necessary if you’re going to do an ECU tune

Hey! It actually does the opposite and increase cabin noise and vibration

You don’t technically need, but makes a significant difference in getting rid of wheel hop

How long did the install take you?

It took a few hours, the original pendulum mount was pretty hard to get loose at first

No need to lift the engine, all of it was done just by working underneath the car
