I strike a hot arc on a block of copper and bend it while red hot. Works pretty reliably for me. Even had luck with the CK Layzr.

Great video with some good tips - and great to see what 'real world' welding looks like when access isn't perfect. One thing you didn't cover which should probably be obvious but might not be is; how exactly do you bend the tungsten? (I know it should be as simple as - get it glowing red with a torch and bend it.. in theory!) Also as others have said, that argon tank is 'uge! You must need a forklift to move that thing around :)

If I was using cylinders my argon bill would be above a thousand but liquid argon is the way to go for production stuff

They are loud haha but hey, I’d rather it be loud then break and take forever to get fixed. The typhoon has the ability to turn the fans off and kick on at a certain temp and then back off

Quick question for you......at 16:06, it seemed as if the two pipes were touching toward the left side of the screen. If they were touching, would that be a vibration point, and possible wear spot? I'm not knocking you at all, it was just something I noticed. Maybe someone else said it too, but I know Blue Demon makes bendable tungsten as well. Amazing video, and I love how you explain everything for us beginners. Awesome work!!!!!

Both banks rest on each other, it’s called fitment. They will not vibrate and damage each other. These runners are big so every little amount can assist with making sure there are no ground clearance issues.

You can leak check by connecting to a water supply. Then weld up the leaks.

Yes . Matters what you're welding as to how much more though . You might play around with it to get where you want it . :)

No the goal in using pulse is to get more pen while using less sustained heat input. Pulse can be used for a wide range of reasons. Generally it’s used to keep the haz or heat effected zone to a minimum

Goal was more to show the getting into tight spots and tips for that. Gotta figure out a way to film welds directly and clearly but that is also a little tricky considering it’s generally on round tubing/pipe. But definitely something I’m working on, thanks for watching!!!
