Bryce don't know what you use for your bicep tendonitis but TIGER BALM ointment will take care of that for you and your shoulder...It is a natural herbal ointment since you compete in the IPF and such...

If you see this comment, can you pleeeeeeease do a video (even just a short, talking to your camera one) on tips for doing equipped benching without a team to support? Not how to get into the shirt, but rather how to _SAFELY_ perform the movement in the absence of dedicated/knowledgeable people to assist with spots, lift-offs, boards, etc. I would LOVE to ramp up to something big in the shirt but I lift in a small town where nobody knows what the hell equipped powerlifting is and I wouldn't trust any of these frat boys to help with any of it!

What are some sources of information or schools of thought you first used when starting coaching as far as programming variations (what to use, when and why), rep/set schemes, and peaking protocols?

Matthew Lewis there’s a lot of sources scattered around but I’d look into the juggernaut training program design book that was released a few months ago, it’s taught me a lot as a beginner to writing my own programs and such

My album of the week is from that era. Are You Dead Yet? by Children of Bodom

Random question about sumo deadlifts: I've been pulling conventional since I started lifting, and recently did a sumo day just for kicks. It was good. Only thing was: my skin became irritated from getting scraped by my hands as I dragged the bar up my quads. It was more pronounced with hook grip. The next day there were visible bruises. Thoughts on minimizing this? Chalk perhaps? Just suck it up?

That phone in hand image you're using. Google Facebook devices (on Facebook.design), they have loads of good images (with more modern phones) for free!

I started equipped benching and I notice that since im loading roughly 20-40kg over my raw max, im getting some forearm and wrist pain that doesnt allow me to raw bench as i usually do. Its normally 3-4 times a week and when i get to my second day the pain doesnt allow me to go over my warm ups. Is this normal at the beggining? How do you recommend to incorporate equipment? Currently only using the shirt once a week.

I’m quite late but I wouldn’t recommend benching in your shirt any more than once a week. The supramaximal loads just become too much to recover from at that point. You might have to reduce your raw benching volume/frequency for a little bit until you’re more accustomed to the shirt

Check out Horrendous - Idol, it's heavy and chaotic but the short melodic songs really give it depth. It's the best album of last year IMO, give it a shot :)
