Hey Danny, great to see you going rinseless! I highly highly recommend giving The Rag Company "Ultra Black Foam Sponge" a try. That 1 sponge can finish a whole vehicle by itself since rinseless formulas encapsulates the dirt to the bottom of the bucket whenever you dip the sponge in. As far as scratching goes... No matter how careful you are, every method will leave some sort of scratching. Obviously try to avoid it, but don't let the doubt get in your way too much!

I use the UBS, too, Xeng. It's easier to adapt to these things if you're newer. According to Yvan LaCroix, even a pressure washer can scratch if it's set to above 1,000 PSI. I don't know how Danny completes this in 15 minutes, though. That has to be record time. It still takes me an hour. I use Beadmaker afterwards and also clean the tires. I even now use the UBS on the tires at the end. I saw what's her name from P&S doing that, so I stopped using the rags.

Hey Danny, A trick I learned from the guys at The Rag Company: Rinse down the panel with the pump sprayer after you wash with a mitt/before you dry. The added lubricity helps with making sure you’re not scratching anything while drying 👍🏽

Good thing to remember is that rinseless doesn’t always mean you don’t pre rinse. You can still pre rinse to knock off the loose dirt. Also rinseless and waterless is two different things. Basically waterless is a detail spray. With rinseless you pretreat, contact Wash, then straight to drying. I love doing rinseless nowadays. P and S absolute or diy detail rinseless Wash

I had a coating client come in for a maintenance washing tutorial. We did a rinseless wash together and that was my first full rinseless detail. I was sold. For lightly dirty vehicles and coated vehicles it’s the way to go. From Here on out I’m exclusively showing my ceramic coating clients that maintain their vehicles how to do rinseless washing. I haven’t pulled out my pressure washer in weeks.

It’s not as fun as foam cannon but for me it’s way more efficient and effective. I’ve moved over almost completely to rinseless. It’s also nice with all the droughts we’ve been having in TX. You can pressure wash a car with less water than it takes to fill a tub but I’ve rinseless washed cars with only 2 gallons.

Yo Danny! Hope you're doing well, yes sir I agree with your opinion about the rinseless wash potentially scratching the vehicle. I started out with Ecosmart wash by Chemical Guys. My vehicle at the time was hammered and yes it rendered micro scratching. However I will say that from my experience that the rinseless/waterless, you only want to do it on vehicles that have a light layer of dust. I know the chemistry of chemicals used in detailing has come a long but, in my personal opinion, whenever you do a contact wash there will always be the potential of micro scratching the vehicle no matter if you use an 18 bucket method or 50 wash mitt method. You are just minimizing the potential of micro scratching. Just my opinion. Great video as always my dude! Sending you my positive vibes from Escondido CA! Keep up the great work!

Rinseless is all i ever use on my own vehicles. Also if doing a maintenance i do rinseless. It is way easier when your doing maintenance to just do rinseless and do tires and rims separate like you said. I wipe one direction and then flip towel to clean side. If i use a mitt then i have a separate rinse bucket. Check out Larry with Ammo NYC or Mike Phillips formerly with Autogeek. One ounce to 2 gallons

Checkout the My4Sons M4 sprayer Danny. I got one for lawn care with the lion battery brick, 100 psi pump, SS pro gun and 15 ft. hose. It has enough power to knock off all the salt and loose debris from my Michigan truck with a pail or two of tap water, then make up your prewash solution with distilled water and get the entire vehicle wetted down in a few minutes. It's a huge time saver and you don't have to hand pump anything.

rineless isn't the same as waterless the procedure is very different. Waterless is spray on, and wipe dry. Rinseless doesnt mean you cant pretreat, it just means you dont need to rinse off at the end. In My experience it really depends on the product and technic. Ive been playing around with rinseless wash for the past 6 months, as Im starting my mobile detailing buisness, and i can confirm that I have seen no more scratches, compared to "traditional wash", it also depends on your technic.

Yes Danny your instict is correct. Be careful with any rinsless method or product. If you accept that on your scenario the possibility of scratches it mire marring vs classic wash then..go go go. In the future you will found ways to minimal the risks. ( When you use hose i like the one mitt one bucket method,but on rinsless because you cannot flash out the mitt with pressure i suggest to use 2-4 thick towels folded on the bucket and use one side for each towel on section , you have 8 sides on each towel, i think is faster and safer than ringing out the mitt each time, just try maybe you like maybe not....🙂🙂🙂🙂) For cars that you have corrected or are polished lately, i am not feal rinsless.methods are the way....i cringe in my inside🙂🙂🙂. Listen and follow your instict ...not the advertiser's of those products and the ...BS cool terms on their descriptions Be CAREFUL with those...funcy red black waved....whatever sponges the sell ... usually they don't work...they cannot hide the dirt inside because of there flat surfaces.... Is already risky method ....try to minimize it as much.

26th like 🚗💨 good job danny. For a business auto detailer like you, rinseless wash is a better option for a maintenance wash offer to your customers. Benefits are awesome - 1. Environment friendly that saves water. 2. Saves you time and effort 3. End results is the same or even better compared to using a pressure washer. 4. Economical and cost efficient as you use less chemical and tools which would give you the last benefit which is 5. More profit 👏👏👏

Best thing is to use MF towels. You can use 8 sides and less towels and safer than using a wash it IMO. You can also quickly re wet the area you cleaned with absolute @ 128/1 as a quicker detailer and as a drying aid OR just go right into using your protection whatever it is you use. You will at get better results with using MF towels. Also, dedicate one towel for the lower portion of the car.

Rinseless and waterless are technically not the same thing. Rinseless means you clean the panel in a step but leave the solution on the panel prior to drying. Waterless would be like a quick detailer in a purchased bottle that doesn't require dilution with water. You would spray on and immediately wipe off in one step without having to use a wash media or any sort of pre spray / wash media wipe / dry sequence of steps.

@ericrodriguez6650

Yes you are correct and for the heavily muddy cars a pressure washer would work best. The argument on rinseless vs pressure washers is the pre rinse with rinseless soaks and encapsulates the grime so when you’re wiping off with a mitt it lifts off easily. If mud and dirt is caked on and you hit it with a pressure washer you’re running the risk of pushing all of that into the clear coat potentially causing more damage the to surface.

waterless is a diluted version of a rinseless wash. they are not the same thing. with rinseless you add water to it bc it is concentrated, but waterless means you dont have to add any water, just use as is. yes, you added too much product, it shouldn't be soapy. also, it's best to dry at the end all at once, otherwise, dirt is going to get into your drying towel and you're going to spread it all over your clean car. confidence is not what you need for a rinseless wash, you need to have a well-thought-out system ;)

Like if a customer wants their car detailed inside their garage but you don't have enough space to use the pressure washer and foam the vehicle.
