Right. When people don’t comment, it makes growing ten times harder. Getting 500-1000 views with no comments and few likes is terrible. Even though people might watch even 30 seconds of your video, not evening leaving a emoji is sad. People gotta engaged, even if they hate the video. Tell me my video sucks, rather than quick click off the video. If not , that’s cool. But any engagement would help.

@saltneynej2725Ай бұрын
Don't take this negatively because I really enjoyed what you said in your video. You started out four WEEKS ago. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. "Everyone" would start a youtube channel if they knew they'd start getting paid within a few weeks. Making a living off KZbin is no different than starting a business. Some people do get lucky, but for the majority of us it'll take posting a lot of videos with no pay at first. And if your main goal is to get monetized you WILL definitely have a hard time. You should focus on enjoying the process and sharing things you're excited about instead, and also on creating a community (just like you said!). Someone mentioned you looking above the camera, and honestly it's a bit disturbing. You lack a bit of "casualness" too. Just like one of your subscribers told you, try to show more personality, more relatability. But it would already be a game changer if you started looking directly into the camera. Good luck with your channel. Your awareness of your "weaknesses" will serve you well!

I’ve been on KZbin for 12 years. Uploaded 322 videos. Have 1600 subs. Less than 3900 public watch hours and I upload once or twice per week. Still not monetized. KZbin is a lot of work. There are some content creators who resonate with the KZbin eco-system and within months they are monetized. Many of them present the “I am struggling and KZbin saved me and I can now quit my job” theme and it has worked for them. Unfortunately, everyone jumping on the KZbin platform will not have the same experience. Only 10% succeed on KZbin and 90% fail. Many of the failures - IMO - are due to impatience and expecting quick results and when the results don’t come quickly, those persons quit. It can be discouraging when you see some KZbinrs blessed by the KZbin gods in short order and receiving big KZbin checks. They are exceptions, not the norm. Believe in yourself. Be yourself. Be patient. Continue uploading. Never compare yourself to those “exceptions” and above all, love what you are doing. You will get there. Subscribed.

I started my channel as a hobby, I didn't start it in hopes of getting monetized. I am monetized now though. I think the key to a successful channel is to be yourself. Don't chase the money. Find a niche. I share my frugal lifestyle, but also just everyday stuff. More like a video diary. As in anything else in life, our channels will ebb and flow. Monetization is great, but people won't tell you how much work goes into maintaining it all. I work a full time job also. Again, for me, my channel is a hobby. I have made some nice connections with my viewers and subscribers. That is the benefit that I enjoy that most! Best of luck to you Jasmin. Keep being you and you will grow :)

We're all on this YT journey...im still on mine as well!! There's an audience for everybody, just make good videos, even if you don't have a niche!! I'm listening to you speak about making videos to please the algorithm and i think this is a mistake!! Make the videos you want to make. If you niche down for anything, when you do that, it'll be hard for you to truly make those videos that you really want to make!! I basically make lifestyle videos which is one of the hardest types of "Niches" to be in, but it gives you way more control over your content even if your growth is slow. In my experience, even if your videos don't get a ton of views, your subscribers will stay with you and your channel won't be transactional... (sorry for the long post) good luck on your journey 🫡

I can understand sometimes it’s so exhausting but I think KZbin is more about going in the flow without taking the stress of money Sooner or later it will monetise Subscribing uh as a fellow creator

I was growing easily at the start and now there's minimal growth and subscribers. Atleast you are getting views.

I think only about 6 percent of KZbin channels ever get monetized because people quit for a variety of reasons. With that being said, you're off to a great start. Four "quality" videos per month is more than enough. It's normal to see that roughly 1 video each month will do far better than the others. Use the Studio to find out what your viewers like, then immediately adapt. Have fun with it and don't burn out by making it a chore. I started my channel less than 2 months ago, and I received lots of encouragement. Hold onto your dream!

You’re getting 40 subs a week. I think that’s pretty good. Filling out your about me and stuff will help people figure out what your channel is about. Your presence is good and your audio and video is good. I’d probably Suggest working on your backgrounds and get some color in your scene and definitely in your thumbnails. KZbin suggested your video and I honestly just clicked on it to find out how easy you thought it would be. You’ll make it. You just keep going and tweak it along the way. My other channel is there, but it took quite awhile

Oh and reply to every comment on your videos. Good or bad. Create community and interact with people. Then they will want to sub

Try posting 3-4 times weekly minimum and utilize hashtags. Use red font for your thumbnails as psychology shows it helps which is why the biggest KZbinrs use it
