Already in the process of decluttering accessories and stuff in the bathroom. Love the inspiration. Def helps to have a clean bathroom while having morning self care routine too. Defs takes time to maintain and create systems but worth it❤️

I made the decision to buy an open bookshelf for our bathroom because our small vanity was causing me to lose track of what items we had. Now I am more motivated to keep it cleaned up/organized because it's out in the open. Controversial decision perhaps but I swear it helped us minimize how much we were holding onto.

Did you plan to dress alike? Good advice but while those drawer dividers were pretty they were thick with an inside edge. They took up more room than a single thickness and didn’t seem big enough to hold Mose products.

Are the things underneath extra items? And how did the categories turn out? What was grouped together, what you use for hair or what you use each day? I would love details to try to organize like wise!

The items underneath are his and hers personal things (like extra hair products, face products, nail care, travel, etc.) We made an everyday essentials drawer on top, his hair products in the middle, and makeup i the bottom drawer! Group based on function and then place based on how often you use something.

I've been living in my apartment for 2.5 years and it took me until this summer to finally buy a tall narrow linen closet to store towels and extra toilet paper in. Before I was just trying to neatly stack everything in the cavernous cabinet under my sink, it just wasn't working for us, plus we were constantly having to move the kids step stool out of the way, such a pain. The linen tower had made my life so much easier. Also, I'm my experience, masking tape rolled into a loop works just fine to hold drawer dividers in place👍

Honestly we didn’t declutter too much. Although there definitely were some items we got rid of. With a lot of the products that we’d been gifted them over time and we are slowly going through them. We will use them. It just takes time to get through them all 🙃

Nice video but nothing new to me. My grandmothers (born before WW1) and my mother (born before WW2) taught me these tips when I was a child, then I taught them to my children, and now my little grandchildren are learning them. It is just common sense. Back then people had much less items in their drawers and wardrobes so it was much easier than now, but the principles are the same. One didn't buy organisers or dividers, but instead, 'upcycled' every little or bigger box and bag available too keep order in the house. My French grandmothers and mum were beautiful, elegant and put together even if their outfits, jewels and toileteries were very basic and simple, especially during the war. They had amazing skin and hair even in their 80s+. I truly believe we need much fewer products etc in our bathrooms, a little like them. They were the best example for me! It's a little sad that in the middle of what's happening in the word now, crowds of people need to resort to professionals nowadays just to organise a few bathroom drawers.

I've watched a lot of organization videos and since she does this as her profession, I really expected better. I understand the the motivation behind it was to make do with what you already had, but there are several organizers that would make better use of your space and actually be sustainable. It is not sustainable to just stuff things in and pile them on top of one other. I also can't be the only one that found in annoying and unpleasant that none of your drawer dividers completely occupied all the space.

Surprised only hand wash on one side of the sink I would put in the middle and no cup for mouth rinsing after brushing teeth, hiding the toilet brush is not good in my house it would not get used .hanging electrical up good because if sink leaks could be dangerous.

Haha you’ll notice that’s nowhere in the title. 🤍 Between Christopher who (isn’t a minimalist) and my mother in law who is a former hairdresser and always gifts us hair products (which we use but sometimes it takes time to go through), we definitely have a good amount of bathroom products. Maybe not as many as some, but I agree it’s not super minimalist 😉
