Great results, Gentil. I asume a complete respray will be somewhere in the further future? Why don't you have some cans of paint matched to the car and do some local touch ups? Even if it was only to prevent the rust from going further? With the solid paint you should be able to get a decent result, compared to the existing paint, and preserve the car a bit better until you manage to procure the funds for the respray? Of course it's just a suggestion, I know you are perfectly able to judge yourself 😉👌

Thanks Frank. I will be getting the paint matched at a local company not far from me and touch up a few bits here and there until I can afford a full respray. But before the respray, I need to take the windscreen off and see what's underneath as I'm sure I might need welding as it's a very common rust spot on these cars

Dielectric grease ( aka silicone grease) is great for rubber trims. Lasts very long. Very nice e12 !!
