as a reader girlie, we dnf (did not finish) books all the time! sometimes you just aren’t in the mood. i once started a slow book, put it down for like 6 months, and then finally had the urge to finish it. there’s always going to be a perfect time & mood to pick up a book. don’t be too hard on yourself for that, just read what you’re in the mood for!!!

the 1st book of acotar is very slow but the last 100 pages are fire. I was bored and had to push through but now it's one of my favourite series ever, it's SO GOOD. so I really suggest you push yourself forward just a little

@@JPcommunicates I read because books make me happy and are a way for me to relax and escape the reality of the world around us. I’m not trying to rush a book or a book series. In all honesty ACOTAR was going out of my comfort zone. I’m not giving hate to anyone who loves the series it’s just personally I couldn’t get into. I want to read books that capture my attention in the first 10 or 15 chapters. ACOTAR wasn’t my thing and that’s completely okay.

A while ago I read a fantastic romance called "she drives me crazy" and it absolutely cured my reader's block! Maybe it could help with yours as well. Loved the video as usual. It's actually pretty inspiring to see a more "honest" reset and goal check-in. 💖 Journaling is not a "must to do" thing 😅 Journaling is a fun stuff. In my case I follow a "free journaling style" so I just write when I feel the urge to do so. Sometimes I journal once a week and sometimes once every 3 months.
