You new creative style is incredible! I’m into filmmaking myself and I love seeing you try out something new. I understand that some people may think it lacks authenticity but I believe that real stories can be brought across trough “staged” shots. It’s simply a way of expressing creativity and getting others to read between the lines in a way.

I just saw her interview with Digital Spaghetti and I absolutely LOVE seeing all the little intentional artistic touches that I didn't notice before (e.g., her purposefully wearing bright red in shots filled with green). It is absolutely AUTHENTIC because she is intentionally trying to evoke certain feelings that we all come to her channel for. God I love her.

Hey Isabelle I'm 3:16 into your video and theres a couple things that I'd love to mention x I also work from home and have felt tugged in every direction with my mind cluttered and my body in constant stress. For the last 3 weeks I have been writing down everything I want to accomplish within the day but being real about it. Not pushing everything into one day but being intentional about what I can do because I'm not a robot and I love the space to be able to breath and do what I want. So I'm 100% with you on feeling de-stressed when it comes to writing everything down. The second thing is, is that I want to thank you for your rawness. It is refreshing for myself to see others with the same mindset, I feel a pressure taken off with your words in each video. I've followed you for years and I admire your truth. Okay back to watching.

Choose some goals. Without them you have no direction. Then determine the individual steps to achieve your goals. Decide what goals fit your values. They can be the same as others or totally different. Inch by inch anything is a cinch, my Grandma used to say (not her own phrase, but if you don’t take the inches or steps in the journey, you go nowhere). Consider time management as critical, eliminating distractions that keep you stuck and don’t contribute to your movement toward your goals. Don’t be afraid to plan, but don’t get stuck in endless planning. There is no “try”, and only “do”.(Yoda, I think).

That is so weird, I literally made a schedule for myself last week. It’s been amazing so far! It needed tweaking this week because I realised that I can’t do 3 different projects in a day so I’ve realised I need to allow a week to do one then, then a week another, and then a week another. I plan to let this roll over over time, but man! Since Friday it’s been excellent! I need to get out and exercise though. I used to run a lot but I’m putting on weight regardless of what I do so it’s felt like a wasted effort (live as much as possible now, because you body will decide you behave completely differently by the time you hot your 30s!) I’m glad you found scheduling. Stick with it, it’s the best form of kindness to yourself. With all that headspace you’ll know exactly what it is you want to do. Good luck x

Filming on a schedule and editing isn't just a distraction, but a hard job with pressure to produce when you don't have a clue what comes next. I have been there and done that when on long trips and doing a blog. It is a total distraction that is disconcerting. I had forgotten that until she said that...
