Sticking new props in with other props that have already rooted is a very good idea! When roots are rooting they release a hormone called auxin, which is responsible for root growth and this makes other cuttings root faster ☺️ pothos produce a huge amount of auxin so they’re perfect for co-rooting

Make a cactus garden then you can have all of the cacti together. And less pots. A shallow dish would be cute.

Charmaine I enjoyed this video. And can’t wait for the vlog. Go easy on yourself. You’re starting to “nest”. The feeling you need to b do things to get ready for baby. And most of it has nothing to do about baby. Except stuff directly related to baby. Like setting up the nursery and the spade in your room. You’ll do those too.

Nope sorry I had to give this a huge👍🏼!!!!😁💚 This video was VERY much appreciated. I am in a similar situation/head space with my plant crap AND my "den" area looks like Christmas threw up all over the effing floor. I had to get everything in from outside before the last 2 "storms" hit because I live on a windy hill and I just plopped it down wherever. So now before I can even get to my plant stuff I have to organize & pack away Christmas...which always depresses me. So I therefore have zero energy to accomplish sh*t.😮💨 Thanks for the laughs and realism.🤗

Just started watching this video and I can relate to the mess. I had two weeks off over Christmas (the first went to Melbourne to spend Christmas with my brother) and the second week was supposed to be an organising week. I ended up just making a mess. Thought I could do my closets in a day and a half (been on a health journey last year and lost almost 60 pounds so needed to clean out the things that don’t fit anymore) and then wasgoing to tidy my office/plant room, do my balconies, tidy my 2nd bathroom ( which I have turned into a potting shed) and have everything organised to start back at work this week. Ended up with a pile of clothing on the dining room table, prop boxes everywhere, scratches all over my arms from ripping out balcony plants that got attacked by caterpillars while I was away and feeling exhausted and overWhelmed. Best laid plans! Eh! Your video gives me hope that i can get past this mess to a tidy organised home so I can enjoy my plants again. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your real life. makes me feel so much better!

That's why I prefer large leaved plants because I find it easier to treat for pests. Edit: Right now I am having mixed feelings because I have been gifted Hoya Hindu rope. I do not want to throw it in the trash so I am suspicious because these twisted leaves tend to hold nasty secrets

You could use bonide systemic granules if you live in the states. Unfortunately Canada doesn’t allow it but it gets into the cellular level and when the spider mites, thrips both get killed when they eat the plant. Mealies is the tricky one. Go ahead and use Charmaine’s solution it’s got alcohol in it and so should kill mealies. If you’re careful you should be able to open the leaves a little to spray inside. Good luck. They are such beautiful plants.

Usually when were renting our landlord was good to remove there furniture or we can throw them out. Also we didn’t want to waste so much money on buying big furniture since we were only renting. We just got new bed mattresses. And just scrub the fridge sanitize it. We were lucky the washing machine was brand new. Also we deep cleaned the sofa. Lucky we only rented for a year and the landlord took back there home then. In the future would you turn your husband’s office into a full nursery? And share your plant room with your husband then. Or he would work in the bedroom? Or maybe in the future the plant room be the office and the plants be moved to the sitting room downsize the collection? Nah not into Saltburn. But looking forward to Argylle new movie great casts and with Henry Cavill aswell don’t like his new haircut though in it. Don’t worry girl no one is looking at your body parts. There are vloggers who wears less clothes too revealing which i don’t understand. I never liked showing my legs and tops that are too revealing. I only show my arms in the summer don’t like getting tanned as i get freckles so easily. I am more of an Autumn girl.
