Thank you for coming to the burnout bobby channel. this video im tuning my variator and then cleaning my carb and throwing on the wideband to get ready to dial in my bike again to get it to 70mph on a 150cc.

Hey Ryan, nice video. Do you happen to remember what rpm you reached when you were hitting 68 mph? I’m at 7850 at 60 mph with my Gy6 150 and am trying to get faster. I’m not sure if I should raise or lower the weights to get closer to the 65 mph mark. Thanks man

I didn’t run a tach and was basing it off of sound. If it was screaming then the weights were too light and I went up a gram in weights. That’s when I found the right combo for me. I think I ran 11g / 12g staggered on mine.

So in order for the belt to ride all the way up heavier weights are needed? 🤔

Depends on your weight. At some point the weights will be too heavy then you’ll lose mph because the crank isn’t spinning as fast to reach higher rpm

So this is a stock internal gy6 150cc? Im wanting to do a carb but everything i see says the 30mm oko carb is to big? But you are the 2nd person i see running a 30mm on a stock internal 150.

Mark Schaeffer yes completely stock internal 150cc. Some people use 24mm 26mm or 28mm but as long as you tune it for the 30mm it’s going to perform just fine. I could go down to a 28mm but the 30 works for me.

Burnout Bobby sounds good. I placed the order for the 30mm oko and the rest of stuff needed. Orderd a 32 and 35 idle jet and 115 and 120 main aswell. just gonna start with the 32 and 115 see how it likes it. Any tips you can give?

Mark Schaeffer I have the 32 and 115. The air mixture screw all the way in and 1/2 out with the c clip at the bottom. That was a good starting point.

15 or16 s buddy for real should go100mph easy I shit you not... my 150 would right out of box...belt needs to max out on perimeter of both pullys.!👌

Kenneth Bellmyer my bike will deff not hit 100 man. I had a 205cc striker and that did 92 on stock gears with 17s. You have to see that a regular 150cc scooter probably weighs 150lbs less than mine. The Ruckus frame is a slug on top of all the billet parts I have and the two piece wheels are heavy. I’ve played with all the weights. The belt is new so it has to break in still. Only has 100 miles on it.

Kenneth Bellmyer bike weighs 343 to be exact then i weigh 160. I have 1500 spring in the back. And not all 150cc come with 15.5g they all vary. I appreciate the help but I’ve been doing this since 2010 everyday so I’m well aware. And you would be the first 150cc that hits 100mph all day that I’ve seen in the last almost 8 years since when I go to the track that’s what the 200-232 are doing. So very impressive if that’s true. You should post a video of it gps verified that would be cool to see
