Might seem simple but it's a lot of work for just 2 people... I put a fence years ago and even paint it too and wasn't easy but I learned a lot from the experience since I never done that sort of job before when I was younger. And it was scorching July weather so I got super tanned ... I love huge back yards because u can do outdoor parties instead of inside and they're much more fun

It's always tough moving away from a place because u become attached to it... not just the Haus but it's surroundings n sometimes even the people but it's also an amazing new experience to move into another place and meet new people and make new friends... When this Haus is done they will def get more than they bought it because they invested money into it and sometimes is worth it...

Yeah and it helped saved lots of money they bought a used tub in good condition because it doesn't look scrsoed or chipped and $250 I think it's quite affordable ... A spa un the stars sounds freaking amazing

Reminds me of my childhood. My mom made my dad pick up a very expensive old porcelain cast-iron bathtub with claw feet because it was free and she knew its value...but we had NOWHERE to put it (my dad never did build her that cabin she wanted), so it was outside, next to our lower porch. In the summer, we would fill it with cold water and I was in heaven with my little pool! I may not have been born with money, but I was taught how to appreciate antiques and "free stuff" :-D

Love love love that you guys are using a local film crew! I would love to see a video of how you relocated your business to a new place especially a slightly more remote place like Hawaii. I can’t imagine how many steps there were to moving everything! I was also curious about some of your old staff from LA, I remember how lovely they all were from the (old but still excellent) studio makeover series. Maybe you could do a where are they now segment? I think it would be really interesting for young creatives to see potential paths.
