Why does Colin ask hard questions? We don't need hard questions. What we really need in this country more than anything is love. That's why I support Scarpino/Gettys 2016. There's only one party, and it just got started.

consistently good entertainment. Came for Gregg and Colin video game discussions; stayed 15-20 episodes now to see 4 friends with good chemistry mildly entertain me for 1-2 hours at a time. Lame though I start thinking of verbal responses like I was sitting there with you guys. Just Sad, or a testament of the lax nature of the show.

Alright I just turned 20 on Monday 4/20 and I find it very odd that Greg Miller roughly 10 years older than me thinks or feels that the rest of the country has no idea what Mad Max is. I love mad Max it has a great narrativeand in the world in which it conveys could at some point become reality due to depletion of fossil fuels. I think the new reboot if you will won't be that good as most reboots of as of late have been atrocious. But the adaptation of Mad Max into games is going to be glorious and I think won't have any issue competing with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on September 1st. Obviously I can't speak for the country but Greg's perception of the relevance to Mad Max puts him in a vast minority.

Nick, we don't just have the best air force in the world. The USA has the top 2 air forces in the world. The US Navy has more warplanes than the US Air Force.

For someone who claims to have a degree in history, Colin doesn't seem to know anything about the context in which programs like Social Security and Medicare came into being. He seems to think these things were created in a vacuum just because someone felt like it and not as a reaction to deal with and address the very real social problems we were experiencing at the time.

Interesting that Nick added to and cotinued Colin's rant that people shouldn't talk about things when they don't know what they are talking about or aren't very informed about when I get the feeling that he has only baseline knowledge on a lot of the politcal issues he monologues about on the show.

If you cut the military budget vastly, wouldnt you introduce a huge bump to unemployment?
@jimbobberson46389 жыл бұрын
Darren Mac Nally You would, and then many of these military personnel (which are essentially glorified welfare recipients) would have to live on the other side of the coin: the working class that gets to pay for everything. I've no qualms with this.

@DTDdeathmas9 жыл бұрын
narcoscatolicos Elaborate please.
@ElZorro859 жыл бұрын
DTDdeathmas I'm wrong when I say that they shouldn't discuss politics because most of that is discussing opinions which is fine I guess. However, as a social worker, I know what poverty does to people and what a vicious cycle it is. Once you get into poverty, you might not get out of it for generations. Saying that everyone should be equal and that some people don't need a little push in the back is ignorant. Especially when you realise that your social/economic standing can give you an advantage over others in society. On the other hand, Collin says he people who are not informed shouldn't talk about politics, yet he wants the uninformed at the Game over Greggy show to speak... Why then? What I find ridiculous is when Collin says that the US won World War 2 with an ill-prepared army and then talks about the greatest generation of Americans. All as if to say that these ill-prepared Americans wiped the floor with the Europeans and the rest of the World. The only way in which the US won the world wars, is that the results of World War 1 and 2 were extremely beneficial to the US, especially economically. What America did militarily, with all respect to all those soldiers who died during the conflict, was negligible. If you want to know who won World War 2 and where the conflict was fought I suggest you read up on the Eastern front.
@phillipprice4339 жыл бұрын
narcoscatolicos Completely agree. I really enjoy listening to Colin when it comes to his opinions on games and knowledge of gaming history but for someone who constantly reminds us of his degree in history, he sure doesn't have a very good grasp of American history. How much government is too much government? That's a question only a conservative would ask.
@jimbobberson46389 жыл бұрын
Phillip Price There are more than "libtards and conservatives" in the world. I suggest you Google "Nolan chart". It's not just republicans that don't want (or rather, these days, SAY they don't want) the long D of the government in their ass.
