Congrats, Lidette! This was a fun one. I really love your excitement and energy. I also really love that all the other Ham/CW youtuber “influencers” are here supporting Kyle and Friends!

I got my novice license in January 1976. I didn't get on for a while. The only option for contacts was CW. CW or nothing. I had a lot of stage fright. My real problem was that I hadn't listened to CW much since the previous October when I passed the CW test. I got up in the middle of the night and got onto 80M and made my first contact. I couldn't copy the callsign of my first contact. I immersed myself in copying CW once again and went back to trying to make contacts. I did well and the rest is history. I'm glad there's no code requirement for licenses now, but I feel sorry for those who do not know code. They are missing out a lot in the hobby. It took me a few months of copying. We didn't do any stinking Farnsworth method. I want to do more CW. I've been off for way too long. Jerry N9XR
