I can’t say enough. She was so wise. I wish I had heard her talks before I got married and had kids. It sounds like young Andrea and young me were just the same. Wiser Andrea helped younger me embrace this life Andrea is talking about. I wish I could have understood sooner. I hope these videos are up forever. I think every young lady starting out could benefit from hearing her speak. I hope Andreas children watch these videos often.

I watch this particular video a fee times. It has been a life-changing moment for me with things that you shared and contentment etc. I wanted to let you know I'm only one of many people that enjoy your videos, but I actually took the time today to pray for you, knowing it is Wednesday and you have library day, prayed for your kids as they enjoy their summer, I pray for Tom as he's usually home on Wednesdays that he would be the dad and husband he needed to be for today. I also thanked the Lord for the blessing that you have been in my life, again I'm only one of many who listen to you but I wanted to let you know that at least there is one person that has been more than blessed by you and that I actually asked the Lord to continue to use you to be a blessing if not for nothing else but in my life. I so appreciate your testimony, that you take the time to share with us, and that you take the time to share what's most precious to you and that is your family. Have a wonderful day I know that a friend in New Jersey prayed for you today.

Im in the realization process and trying to get organized. I was so overwhelmed for so long that I didnt have the energy to figure out why I was so miserable. I have 4 kids..3 of them back to back. 1, 2, 3, and 8 years old. 3 year old is autistic. Im a stay at home homeschooling mom. Its like you read my mind when you did this video..I feel the same way about life and only getting one chance and making it the most that I can. I want to thank you for everything you put on youtube because you are a blessing! You are an amazing woman and mother! Thank you!

It makes me feel so glad that I am being an encouragement to someone. I bet life is pretty crazy at your house! I've had 3 kids 3 and under twice (my first three and my last three) and it can be really overwhelming. You know you're seeing the light when you can start thinking about thinking about getting organized. Tom always calls it the "pre-contemplation" phase. :)

@@TheMillsFamilyVlog Both NighOwlTarot111 and Andrea's comments here make me feel so encouraged. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one strugging (even though I know I'm not) and I definately feel at times like I'm doing something wrong, because I'm so overwhelmed and can't even think about getting organised. I don't even have time to write shopping lists or organise hand-me-downs, or even open up mail and packages. For a while I had 4 children 3 and under (twins in there). My twins just turned 4, so now I have 4, 4 and under. Its crazy at our house and my brain doesn't work well with not being able finish tasks off and tick boxes. But seeing that Andrea struggled too, comforts me and makes me feel not so alone. I wish she could reply - I know she would have some encouraging words, but I take comfort in knowing she's praying in heaven for us mums down here.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18, KJV). At 69 years old I'm looking back at my decisions and actions of my youth and wish I had spent more time in the early years in looking at my vision(s) and accountability even to myself, and certainly towards God. I wish I had set even shorter goals of where I wanted to be at 40, 50, 60, etc. Now today, on 9/29/16 with a few serious health issues, I'm also looking at short-term goals, like where I want to be a year from now, and even a month from now. I can't stress how important it is to follow your advice on having a vision for one's life and family. In fact, I would recommend having one's vision(s) decided as early as pre-engagement. If you don't have that laid down, it can be much harder to decide and fulfill once children come into the picture and life really gets complicated. Andrea, your parents must be very proud of you; I know I would be were you my daughter.

You are such an encouragement! As my channel has grown, it's made me think about my mom. She was my best friend and she died 6 years ago. My mom was such an outgoing people-person and I was always so shy. Tom and I were talking about her last night and I've wondered what she'd think if she were alive to see me talking to so many people this way. I know she'd be proud.

Very thought provoking. I'm 12years from 80.oh my! Hadn't thought about "age". I just go out and landscspe/garden. Sew, quilt, can food. Need to work on being more social. Although I was president of garden club for two years and belong to a quilt guild and a Longarm assn. I rarely "do lunch". I like home! Need to stay healthy to live a vet long life.

I've been planning our homeschooling with the thought of "begin with the end in mind" that way I can backtrack and plan the early years to set us up to get to our goal. Your video resonated so much with me, duh, I need to begin my life with the end in mind and backtrack it into daily steps. Seeing your video was so timely for me today, thank you for sharing your heart.

You are fortunate that you knew what you wanted from such a young age, found a husband with a like mind, and are living your dream! However, like Bezalel and Oholiab, we are all given skills and I suspect more of them require time away from home than don't. The most difficult requirement God gave his people was to go off and fight or build....sometimes for years at a time, so being away from home is not unusual in His plans. IMO, that includes sooo many like the truck drivers (bless them or we'd not have stocked shelves at the grocery store), teachers and ministry workers, and even......ta da! Drummers....who are out making music. xoj

My dad was an over the road truck driver for many years. It's definitely hard on a family! My uncle drove truck over the road, too, but once he got married, he found work that kept him closer to home. (Again, I don't know what I said in this video, so my comment may not be relevant!)
