Once we've thought about the "big picture", it's time to start making lists and prioritizing the items on those lists.

Andrea was so wise. I come to this video when I am feeling overwhelmed, like I can't handle all my responsibilities. Her words and outlook make me feel like "I can do this. It's going to be ok." I remember the first time I watched it, about four years ago; she really opened my eyes to how I don't need to compare myself to others, and how we're all on our own path of progress. Such a wise woman.

Thank you Andrea, I am a mom with two young children. It has always been my dream to be a good wife and mother and look after my family. You are teaching me so much. Your videos are a true blessing. Even though you are no longer earth side you are still helping and inspiring me everyday.

I love your thought process about setting priorities. I probably don't think enough about these things. I get so overwhelmed with the day to day stuff and alot of times forget about the bigger picture

I did a "brain dump" earlier this year but didn't get any further than categorizing tasks (finance, household organization, move, career, etc.). Now I can go back through it and reorganize according to whether it is a maintenance or progress type of task which will put the stack into more pressing order. Also, I now acknowledge that I need to schedule weekly review time in my calendar on this aging pile or I will continue to get none of it started/finished. Thanks for reminding me of this! I call it being "overwhelmed by the mundane". I can keep up with survival items (food, clothes, bed, dishes, personal maintenance) but moving forward means tackling this stack which is easy to ignore since sonehow my days are filled...That has been my challenge. Thanks for putting this content together!

This is what I needed to hear, even though I don't have any children. You have no idea how relevant your message can be even for people whose life is very different from yours. Or maybe you do :) Anyway, thanks, Andrea

These talks are so helpful to me. You make me think! Music is obviously not optional at our house! LOL! I've always told the kids, "We brush our teeth every day and we practice every day." Nobody escapes. Not even me. But with those skills comes the joy of family jams, all kinds of hobbies, school concerts, and of course, I believe it is a brain and critical thinking developer. I remember you described what you hoped for your kids when they grow up. I keep it to myself, but I hope that one of our g'kids will carry on Grandpa's musical legacy. He is quasi-famous here in the Pac NW and is known for his particular 'sound.' It would be great if someone would be able to learn that. It's too soon to tell. I also love what a cultural storehouse he is of local arts and music because he's been in the 'industry' for 50+ years. He has always had a 'day job' .... two jobs, actually, and he works hard. But what amazing people we get to know and how much we get to experience our world because of his music.

I bet you guys have so much fun together! I always enjoy seeing how someone's particular interest is useful in developing relationships with people whom we'd not otherwise meet. This is hardly comparable to your husband's music, but since Tom started playing Pokemon Go, we've met a whole new group of people in our small town. I have a friend whose husband loves disc golf and that brings him into contact with so many people he'd never know otherwise, too.

I often wish women got together for 'chores' more like they did in history......bread-baking at the community oven; quilting; canning, etc. I do have two friends that 'Spring Clean' with me every year....we spend a weekend at each other's house doing deep cleaning for three weekends. I actually look forward to it.
