Preach! Exactly! My mother got my ears pierced when I was still a baby, probably at 01 month old already. But I CHOOSE not to get my daughter’s ears pierced (she’s 16mo now). When she was 2mo I was debating if I should, but now I’m very content with my decision not to get her ears pierced. I’ll leave that to her when she’s 16 years or so

SO HAPPY, you went with a tattoo parlor!!!!!!!! I really wish that stores in the mall were not able to do piercings. Skye is adorable, and her earrings will only add to that, when and if she gets them done. There is no need to explain or justify your choice to get YOUR daughter's ears done. I nursed both my girls while they got theirs done. Worked like a charm!

I don’t, our parlor piercings are the only ones that didn’t heal and kept causing problems. I wish I didn’t listen to all the ones saying parlor is best. Womp womp womp.

@KP-nk7fo More often than not, it is not the parlor nor the piercers' fault for healing. It is the customers responsibility to follow the aftercare, which is provided when the piercing is done. I am not saying this is the case 100% the time. I've had all of my piercings done at the same parlor by the same amazing woman. I had an industrial done on my left ear and nose done at the same time 10-12 years ago. My nose healed absolutely fine and still have it. My ear, however, rejected the ring. We tried all we could, but it was not meant to be. It had nothing to do with the parlor. It was my body's choice. I also had my belly button done when I was about 15/16 years old. Hands down the worst I had without a doubt. Belly buttons are notoriously difficult for healing. Give it a thought as to why. The problems I had were from laparoscopic surgeries, 8 in fact. In lieu of my button, my left nipple was done. Two pregnancies, breastfeeding, pumping, etc. beautifully. Both my daughters had their ears done by our spectacular piercer, Erin. It is unfortunate you had issues as well.

My parents had mine done for my first b day and I'm grateful for it too because i dont remember it and as i got older i loved wearing earrings. I was also grateful that i didn't have to go thru taking care of them while they heal and don't remember them being sore and so to me was awesome!! At the end of the day. You're right. When feeding your baby food you shouldn’t have them strapped in, incase they choke it’s easier to get them out quicker. If she is allergic to egg you should add it in small amounts to foods to help her grow out especially if it’s not an extreme allergy or it could get worse without exposure xxx

If she only gets a little rash after eggs keep giving them to her cause she will out grow the little allergy. My baby had that with apples and they said to keep giving it cause it’s only mild and she’ll outgrow it and she did ☺️

I know you said you don't care what others have to say, but anyone should when it's presented as true concern and care. I guess it really just boils down to it being a unnecessary pain she has no choice and it's all for appearance sake. That's what earrings are for, to accent. Why not wait until she is old enough to express, herself, that she is willing to go through the pain for it? Will she remember it, now? No, but the pain is still unnecessarily being imposed on her against her will.

Y’all should go to a tattoo parlor to get your daughters ears pierced.I got my second ears pierced at a tattoo parlor and it didn’t hurt at all.And you get to take her piercing out in four months if she gets her ear pierced. And you change it to a different earring. Hope that helps when the time comes for her to get her ears pierced and it is cheaper to get them done at a tattoo parlor then Claire’s

My grandma used to put a tiny tiny bit of ketchup on the scrambled eggs for all of us babies. Like literally only enough to barely see it on the eggs. It makes it just sweet enough that the babies love it...but don't put to much. Just a tiny bit. It's a trip how much the babies love it like that. ❤️

My daughter is allergic to eggs. If skye is getting a rash around her mouth and not wanting to eat them, she might have an allergy to them. I’d mention it to her pediatrician and/or see an allergist just in case. Not medical advice but just from personal experience it might not be a bad idea to rule it out

It is your choice as you are the parents, however, just from my experience, my niece had her ears pierced at a young age and she went to grab her ears and the earring fell out onto her hand and she put it in her mouth. Thank God we saw this and we’re able to retrieve from her mouth before swallowing.
