I got my daughter’s ears pierced at 3 months. They are allowed to get them pierced after they turn 2 months after they get their tetanus shot

I got my ears pierced in the 6th grade with my best friends and it was such a fun and memorable experience. I think it’s the best to get your ears pierced when you’ve decided you want to and make a fun moment out of it! I know that in some cultures they get the ears pierced as babies, but my personal belief is that the child should be able to consent to doing it because they actually want it.

I remember all my friends who got theirs pierced in middle/high school and there was complications with sports, dance, cheer, etc because we aren’t allowed to have jewelry but they can’t remove their piercings for a certain amount of time.
