Years ago I had a beagle that had the knee issue in one hind leg and we did the surgery...a year later it was said the other hind leg had it too and would require surgery. I was upset and wanted a second opinion. Long story short we ended up getting leg braces (looked like a set of chaps for dogs lol) and this not only helped the newly affected knee but strengthened the one that had the surgery. We used them on walks or play time. When she was sleeping we didn't put the braces on. Just thought I would suggest this as we wanted the best for our doggo but with the surgery outcome not a guarantee we chose the $200 braces instead of the $3,000 surgery option for the second leg. Plus if the braces didn't work then we could still do the surgery. We never did the second surgery and our beagle girl lived a full life until almost 16 years of age. I have watched you for along time, and so I’m very familiar with your house, lol! I always think you could probably use your whole front of your house as a living room, even if the door is there. Put your table over by your kitchen , there is a lot of unused space over there. Your house is cute, your kitchen is big , maybe take your island out, and put a big country style table there, I think you could utilize the space you have more. Just a suggestion!

Try your tree in an unconventional area. I still think put your couch at an angle to your living room you could use more of that space in your kitchen area toove couch into. Have you thought about doing acupuncture on Knox? My daughter and I both had dogs that hurt their backs and could barely walk. My vet did chiropractor and her vet did acupuncture. Both recovered to about 95%.
