Presumably a continuity error caused by shooting different segments on different days. I have been assuming that Edd is answering these messages in real time and then either he or or his editor is editing them into video that has been shot in the past. I am assuming he and his team are shooting out as much of a video as possible repairing a vehicle and ideally completing it and then cutting it up to make episodic TV mixed with sections waiting for the inserting of these Ask Edd questions So one question is: Is Edd actually reading all this verbiage or are they first being screened by a researcher? Thank You Edd. Rest assured your great work does not go un-absorbed. A Tip: Identify and get a spare one of those Resistors for the Trailer Lights and stash it somewhere clever on the trailer. A wise man taught me the importance of redundancy when possible. Those have a way of expiring at most inopportune of times. As an example - my Race Car. When I was building (Wiring) things, the Electric Fuel Pump and Starter Motor Relays, I mounted 2 side by side each in their perspective locations. Should one decide to fail, I merley unplug the connector and plug it into the spare already mounted.

@@leeneal6969 Rather pointed with your comments old chum .First I work in the city as a trader 25+ years and your trying to tell me that I'm wrong in my analysis of the motor industry and Government strategy! Here's a factoid for you the ASM recycling company at one location North of London receives on average 65cars a day every day for scrapping average age 5 to 12 years....not rusted not bashed not worn out..but electronically buggered . Now go and study the manufacture of Electronic components and speak to the boffins that make them you may not be surprised that the these are deliberately made to fail after a predetermined time. Electronic failure is the new rust . Yes if the part fails in an accessible place you can replace it....but surprise it's not but located in difficult locations that necessitates removal of dash of engine etc .Thus the labour cost outweighs the value of the car ,which is determined by the dealer network. Therefore most are scrapped at that point and the punter buys a another car. My own 2014 Mercedes 350 was traded in as the Electronics hidden under dash failed to remove the dash and ancillary items was over £ 4000 the car was valued at £ 7k so away it went to ASM maybe for parts who cares. So chum don't lecture me about the car industry and the Government so called strategy for the future its my job to know to and make" loads of money" for me and my clients .
