I loved it Ashley!! Debt free and planning truly makes a difference in our lives. When friends complain to us about money they ask what do we do. We lived way below our income for many years and that was the secret. That and staying out of debt. So we lived like no one else so that now we reap the rewards from living that way

I was a waitress for 6 years (up until I had my first babe) and my husband is a chef so the restaurant industry is something we have in our blood😂 So THANK YOU for tipping well because a lot of folks don’t understand that tips are income because in 95% of restaurants waitresses are only paid $2.13/hr and then that’s taken by taxes anyways! ❤️

Good tips! I paid all of my debt down after my divorce (there were a LOT that we had to split). It took me a couple of years, but now I am debt free except for my house and we just bought a little rent house. I have a plan to have both paid off in less than half the time of the loan. Thankfully my current husband and I are very similar in our financial views, where my ex and I were NOT.

We were out of debt for a while then sold our first home. Within a year my husband’s credit score went to a 0. It was crazy how many companies had never heard of someone having a zero. It took a bit of hunting to find a company that would give us a loan for our new home, even though we had 20+% to put down.
@TilVacuumDoUsPart6 жыл бұрын
That’s crazy. I guess it’s not a common thing.

Great tips guys. When we bought our first house we started getting credit cards in the mail. So of course we got all we applied for just to buy all our house stuff etc.. we didnt max them out but we had to stop doing anything fun and if it meant sandwiches every night then that's what we did. We saved so much money and payed all the cc off and it felt great. We then took all but one and cut them up. Now we have a credit card that pays all our bills utility phone etc.. and my husbands paycheck pays it off every week. No late charges no worries about did I pay? Rewards. That's the best thing we have done and our credit score is great. We cant pay our mortgage with it so we put that money in a separate acct. We hate cc. If we cant pay cash we dont get it. HUGGS Terrie

Hi there, we bought our home in 1990 (STILL in this home, by the way) when we were 20 & 25 years old. The home is 4-5 bed./ 3 & a half bath, 3 car gar. We paid it off in 5 years. Tip- do NOT get head over heals in debt with credit cards!!!! Do not start paying the "minimal" on cards. Also, CARS- uh, our 3 are paid off, people get BROKE with too big/too much interest on car pmts. Just thought I would add my bit, plus all 6 of our kiddos are in college right now.Also, we learn to have fun, make good food, etc. here at home, dang we would go broke, for a family of 8?

How do you get your tax return low?
@bekaaaw6 жыл бұрын
Sorry if that doesn’t make sense referencing what Chase mentioned in the last question
@TilVacuumDoUsPart6 жыл бұрын
You can adjust your allowances on your W-4 form with your employer. The lower the allowance (ex 0 or 1) the more they will withhold for taxes. The higher the allowances you claim (ex 4 or 5) the less they withhold from your check. We used to claim a low allowance, so we way overpaid on taxes and would get a big refund. Now we claim a higher amount so we get more money throughout the year on our check instead of lending the government a big chunk of money that isn’t working for us and instead benefiting them!
