One of the best advice I heard Dave Ramsey say is participating in crazy doesn't make it go away. And I had to learn this hard way. Particularly against hidden forces in the world who has access to unlimited powers to experiment on human beings however they see fit!

As a divorcee, I find it interesting that Dave has shifted to actually saying, "Your marriage is over." Not everyone is noble and not every relationship can be repaired. It's good not to convince someone that counseling is a good idea, when it clearly is not in some cases. It just prolongs the pain of severing what needs to be severed so the caller can move on.

True ‘dat! I notice he says that a lot and it makes me happy that it’s not a sexist thing and he doesn’t just call women that. As a woman, I feel like it’s a little demeaning to be called that by someone trying to explain something to you, like their “Mansplaining” and you’re too dumb to understand. I think he does in a way he would talk to his own grown children, so it’s nice.

I hate it when Dave tells people how to skip out on their debts. He talks a good talk about doing the ethical thing. Skipping out on your debts (while keeping all the cool stuff you got with them) isn't ethical and it isn't demonstrating good morals. People should pay their bills, even if it's no fun for them.

On top of that, believes in the Dave plan and is a 'if it isn't broke don't fix it' type of guy, that's how I see Dave's plan too, the stuff works so let's follow it.

What terrible, completely theologically based advice. Never wait to have a baby? Wow. The guy is 100k in debt and trying to be a responsible parent by bringing a child into a financially stable family. Of course he should wait and get things under control. What if the baby is special needs? What if the mother, who might be part of the 100k income or most, dies during delivery? All those things are terrible without 100k debt but crushing with it

Dave and George, something bothered me about what Dave said to this caller. He said he doesn't believe in this "end of the world stuff." You both are Christians and quote scripture on your show. You do believe in the Rapture and that Jesus is coming back for his Church, don't you?

@@caliopeknows844 You are incorrect.1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 Says: "15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. The words "caught up" mean Rapture.
@Damon-qt3fw
@Damon-qt3fw 2 жыл бұрын
@@janetday3505 The rapture is not in the bible. The scripture you're speaking of is not talking about all Christians. In the book of Revelation, it talks about a select number of people who have a special covenant with Christ. Those individuals will fight along the side of Jesus during Armageddon and then serve as kings and priests during Christ's millennial reign. This is stated in Revelation. The great crowd also mentioned in Revelation will remain on the earth, and under Christ's direction under his millennial reign, will work to restore the earth and fill the earth with the knowledge of God. That calling in 1 Thess. is the sealing of those who have a special covenant and they will be taken right before Armageddon so they can fulfill their purpose.

Every generation of Christians has believed they're the end of the world generation. But what Beck mean by it is not what the Bible means by it---he means "end of the world (as you know it)."
