For some reason no one that plays this game on KZbin seems to understand the concept of friction. If you apply very little force (go slow) your hammer will stay against a flat surface. But if you apply a lot of force (go fast) it will slip. That’s why you don’t see people running up a steep hill. Your feet will slip. You have to go slow

Most of their problems is that they panic when they fall which just propels them further back, like at 10:11. Trott had a grip on the ledge and had he waited a little before swinging he would've saved himself, but he just flailed which did him no good at all. Unless you're an experienced speedrunner, just take your time, both up and down. Enjoyed your yelling anyway.
