Another great video Mariano! I like the call with the T7. Obviously the guy was getting a bit loosey goosey floating Q8dd OOP. So I think it's good to call down when V is gonna have so much random stuff they just have to bluff the river with because they called with it OTF.

The AK off hand I think was a way ahead way behind situation, so just a call makes more sense. I still like the all in if you think your opp has a flush draw.

K10 call OTF is marginal against the blinds. Turn is a slam dunk bet bc it hits our range very hard. We have AQ. blockers to the straight. AK, AJ. If we get called by K6o that’s fine. But bottom line is that this overcard is more in our range than theirs so we should just go for a 2/3 or PSB

I wouldn't include Harrah's SoCal in that list of options that are better than Pala...I spent a 4 day vacation there because the room was free... Only game they ever ran was 3-6 limit with kill. Not exactly what I'm looking for in a poker game. Good to see you at Morongo last weekend. Even if I couldn't suck out with Kings vs Aces all in pre....I ended up taking them for $5500 at a different kind of table in the HL room so I guess I'm ok losing $500 at poker. 😉

It's really sad for back in 2010 the room was twice the size it is today and had a ton of games. They had some really good tournaments also when deep stacks were putting them on. But the poker room manager decided to go away from deep stacks and go with a local guy that turned out to be a con artist. When I was there a month ago they said they close at between 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. or earlier. When I was there they had six call in players but none showed up and played with only 5 players. They do have a really good Buffett, but it's so far out of the way either does not make it a destination trip.

That KT hand is pretty bad, but i assume you know that. Have another look at the wheel footage. That looks like a fixed ie weighted wheel. The speed and smoothness ov spin is off. It almost accelerated past 50 to 25, then slowed suddenly to ensure it gave the maximum "come oooon" excitement but ultimately ensures min payout $25...

I got owned by regulars at the MGM, 1/2 preflop on the button, I see a raise and a re-raise, I look down at AKos and push all in for $400 to isolate. AJos snap calls..... J-J-4 on the flop....total ownage. :)

Heyo great videography but i just have to say something off the bat about this KT hand.. 1st of all this hand is probably too weak to be isolating utg with without specific reads and history with the opponents if we do isolate and sb leads 2/3rd pot and gets a call this is just a fold. Your equity vs the two villains range is not great, we have no draws to the nuts, and we will likely face continued aggression as sb has already shown strength by leading into multiple opponents and the preflop raiser. Im not saying that KT isnt the best hand sometimes but i am saying that KT will not be good often enough by the river to make this call. As played when the turn comes the A of diamonds i think your assessment that it is a mostly inconsequential card couldnt be more wrong. Both opponents could be holding Ax of clubs as well as TQ. In fact these seem like extremely likely holdings that players would call with in the blinds. Having a K and no clubs means that hands like those are more likely. When turn checks to you we certainly should be checking and you do which is great. On the river when bb shoves we should just fold. We are at the absolute bottom of our range and most villains are incapable of bluffing into two opponents. If that isnt enough of a reason sb could certainly be trapping with TQ which will be rare but is certainly a decent play seeing as someone should have busted clubs. I feel like a lot of small mistakes here lead to you losing your first buyin. I hope this helps you in the future. You certainly dont need to be heroing with 7T granted you were right that time.. i disagree that his 35 was polarizing.. because of the board texture and action any king could bet that size for value. Your AK shove against button is correct and well played.. villain will often call with his Kx and draws. A+ move. On your KQ hand i love your river play but 65 might be a little high.. 50 would accomplish the same goal. Either way A+ play just unfortunate he has AQ. Great vlog have a great day!

Alarm bells going off in my head for the kto hand. This is not a good hand. Your raw equity is not ahead of donkey flatting ranges that contain any ace and any pair. You can't stop them from realizing their equity multiway. Once there's a bet and a call, top pair is rarely good, and now by calling you price yourself in on the river for the old man slowplay/dink and donk.

You can own games like this playing small ball if they aren’t 3b enough just open 3x with everything and cbet 1/3rd 100% except like 4 ways+ on really connected boards only has to work 25% against these nit fish

Pala gives $20 freeplay and $30 food comp for new card sign ups, did your friend get it? You probably got a card before when you went first time. I'm a Pala regular and you're right, poker is not very good there. I play slots and table and like the laid back atmosphere on the casino floor.

How in the same introduction can you say the games are soft teddy bear soft and then you proceed to describe that there's no action in the game not really sure how that makes sense. You're sitting down at a table with a bunch of tight regulars that's not a good game and it's also not soft so sounds like you talked yourself into playing there and put yourself in a bad spot.
