Gosh I wish there was a hair salon for curly girls like me so we could really let someone else take care of our hair the way it deserves to be treated. Love your hairstyle btw 😊😊😊😊 I'm still following your tips for transitioning and I'm loving the results so far

I hope to be getting these sometime in August. I wanted to try a protective style this summer & this was #1 on my short list. You are one of my most favorite influencers! THANK YOU for addressing the colored curly hair issues. I find that some folks totally skim over the concerns of colored hair curlies or don't touch on it AT ALL!

Thank you so much!! ❤️ Will be coming with more info too so hopefully that helps, but this has been a really fun style! And I hear you on the colored hair issues, prior to getting color I thought it was going to be a walk in the park but there’s a LOT of new considerations compared to just keeping your natural color. Glad it’s been helpful info! 💕

i loved the little vlogging part at the hair store hahah. i was debating between these and the good ole trusty box braids but i went with the braids so it would last a little longer/be a little less upkeep. i've been doing the half up, half down too bc the heat doesn't want me to be great lol but i was wondering if this style could be damaging in the long run? also in your next video, could you demonstrate how you work out and sleep with your twists? they look so good on you 💕

Thank you so much!! 💕🥰 I think as long as you do half up half down after the style at your roots has loosened up it should be ok, but if the hair is heavy I think it could be a little damaging to the edges if it's worn like that over and over (I’ve been worried about that too!) I can def show how I wear my hair for workouts and to bed! Might have to witness the struggle to get these things in a bun 😂😅

Hi Amina 🌻 I’m in the beginning of my transitioning stage , I love this hairstyle ! Do you think it’s advisable for me to do this style ? If so please tell me how to treat and wash this hair and my natural hair together 💕x

would passion twists show similar results using the pre-stretched and feathered hair?
@AminaMarie5 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe so. The water wave hair is textured and curled even when separated which helps hold the twist together. If that’s the hair you have on hand I would check out braided styles!

Love this!! It has been my favorite go to summer style. So easy and takes just a couple hours to install. I do them myself but only like 25 twists and I take them out every 2 1/2 weeks. I get ready in no time now😂😍
@AminaMarie5 жыл бұрын
Amazing, I need to figure out how to do these myself!! I think 2.5 weeks is the perfect amount of time to keep these in, but I'm stretching them because I'm not ready to get back to my natural hair yet 🙈

Amina Marie I totally understand. This style has made me so lazy when it comes to dealing with my hair. I don’t mind because I do it myself. I always get so many compliments. You should really learn how to do it. Once you learn, it’s super easy. I use the same hair/brand as you but only 3 packs because it’s 25 twists.i also don’t separate the hair.

If you work out a lot, how often do you wash it and what products do you use?

I want to get this hairstyle but idk if it would be good for me because i play lacrosse and practice everyday. Im not sure if it would stay or fall out of my hair. (I have long hair that falls down to my waist btw so i think/hope it would be fine)

Loved the vid! Just curious... I was watching some of your vids and listening to your natural hair tips and I was wondering what porosity your hair is to know if your tips would apply to me ( I’m low porosity and type 4a).
@AminaMarie5 жыл бұрын
My hair is a mix right now! My hair is naturally low porosity but the color treated hair is high porosity! All in all my hair loves most of the same products except coconut oil! Before my hair was colored it hated coconut oil and proteins (protein sensitive) and now it loves & needs both!

You get down to business 👏🏽 they look so good on you! 😍 I gotta ask, how do you wash those? (If you’re going to wash them at all), it looks like they’d get frizzy quite quickly 😩
@AminaMarie5 жыл бұрын
Gi Gi Thank you! And YES they do get pretty frizzy! Just filmed my wash process / upkeep so that’s coming later this week!
