Sex ed was taught in my school. They taught us that the pullout method doesn’t work and to not even both trying it. They instead put us all hormonal birth control and insisted it was the only way to prevent pregnancy which failed at least three girls who all Had abortions. The condoms they provided us were too small. We even bought regular ones to compare and sure enough the free ones at the clinic were so small They were useless. Sex ed at schools is just a way for the pharmaceutical companies to infiltrate and make money off of poisoning teen girls.

Lack of access to birth control? 🤔 even in impoverished areas I’ve never heard of that necessarily being the issue, I think that’s why planned parenthood and community health care centers always have condoms out for the taking. I was blessed with a good head on my shoulders and the internet to learn about contraceptives and things but I cannot say the same for everyone. You were privileged enough to have access to those things as other are not, and hey all contraceptives aren’t even 100% guaranteed to work which I did not learn until i read it on a box of condoms

No, it doesn’t just “happen.” It happens bc kids are unsupervised, allowed to date and that’s why it “happens”. Only meet members of the opposite sex when you are actively ready to marry. Story time: my sister when she was 14 lost her virginity to bre (someone that was staying with us at the time cause his mom was in jail) he was 15 bre then left and Ariana swore she was pregnant she took tons of test and they all came back negative but she still kept saying she was pregnant and every day she would wake up with a flat stomach then she would come back from school and she would actually look pregnant she argued with our parents for a few months but they finally went to the doctor and my Ariana still believing she’s pregnant and with her pregnant looking stomach was ready to prove our parents wrong but then the doctor told my parents that she had this mental problem it was a big word so I don’t know but the symptoms of this mental problems was every time someone brung up the the fact that she was pregnant her stomach would get bigger cause her body believed it Now she a sweet older sister she’s 23 now has a husband and 3 children and 1 is on the way the first child is not the husbands they haven’t met at the time that 4 year old girl is Fred’s daughter

I got pregnant at 15 years old. I have my daughter at 16 and yes I did finish high school and I finished college and got a diploma in the medical. Later on in I had several miscarriages and I also found out that the birth control I was on made me more fertile watch the doctor said was a very unique case. But when God has plans for you there's no stopping it. I also want to point out in some cultures talking about sex is a taboo so I did not learn about sex until I had it. I did not know about pregnancy and birth until I became pregnant.

Yet Texas Law makers want to suppress sex education in schools, and leave it up to the parents only. Kids needs proper education from BOTH PLACES. Some parents are too afraid or can't be bothered to properly educate their kids about sex and protection. It's better to have an educated child who understands consent, contraceptives, what their options are instead of scaring them into celebacy that can cause so much ignorance on the child's part that when they actually have sex they end up pregnant anyways. Either way it can happen with or without education but at least they know all of their options to protect themselves before during and after sex or a sudden pregnancy.
