The only real exception is if you are referring to above Central Park in the triple digit streets. Those areas (Harlem, Washington Heights, Morningside, etc) are commonly referred as "Uptown"

A NYer came over and talked to me saying how embarrassing it was. I feel you. Traffic was completely stuck. I remember riding at the Nyack area. It's way more calmer and greener. Nice to see NY police didn't loose their skills. You're also a very cool guy. Nice one! Cheers

Subbing. Nice ride, my bike won’t even go east anymore. I live in the far west burbs of Chicago. Been ridding for over 40 years on the street. Rode in the dirt and on our unincorporated street as a kid. Got a 2021 Can Am Spyder in November. It had a 3 cyclnder Rotax power plant. Rotax makes small airplane motors and I found out in my reacherch they also make motors for BMW Motorcycles!! Great power plants.

It starts with the Police, as they are the ones who surround you with guns. If the Cops are cool, like the one who pulled him over, and lady who actually asked for his papers, then things go well. It’s the jerk cops who start with the negative attitude that sends everything downhill.

You ride like a madman..I wore a helmet ⛑ to get thru it. When you park your bike on asphalt in the hot summer, put a small piece of 1/8 steel under the kickstand. It will prevent the bike falling over. I learned the hard way. Subscribed 👍.
