48:30 and in the speed lane at that 😅. I think he was riding a tank 200cc zuma clone. I take my msf course next wk, and I am trying to decide btwn a navi or the royal enfield hunter 350 as my first bike. I plan on using it to do uber eats as a side gig. Everyone says that the msf class is like disney world, and I won’t really start learning until I am out in the real world. Do you think it would be too overwhelming trying to do food delivery on a motorcycle as a new rider?, I live in nyc btw. Can you recommend a good beginner bike?. I like the style of cafe racers and naked bikes more than sport bikes no offense lol. Thanks in advance, and I subbed

So, I think there’s two things here. 1.) what’s better for a beginner? 2.) what’s better for deliveries. BUT I would always vote motorcycle… To answer the first, I think the hunter will not necessarily be better for a beginner, but will teach you more about riding actual motorcycles, and will be more rewarding than the navi will. The navi will certainly be easier for a beginner, but you will likely get bored of it quickly. To answer the second, I think the navi will be easier for deliveries, since it is an automatic transmission, and is much smaller. The hunter might be problematic (depending on the rider) to deliver on since you will be learning how to shift, ride in traffic, ballance, etc., all while being preoccupied with delivering. I guess it really comes down to what you are prioritizing; getting into riding motorcycles, or finding something good to deliver on. Hope this somewhat helps, and good luck on your test!

Thanks for the detailed reply, I really appreciate your insight. You’re right, I have to make a decision about what the priority is. If I am being honest it’s to make some extra money. But I fear that if I get an automatic scooter I’ll get lazy and spoiled. I’m going to make my decision based on how comfortable I feel during the course/test. But I agree that trying to multitask learning to ride safely, and making deliveries is a recipe for disaster. I may have to live out my motor cycle dreams vicariously through yt for a couple more months 🥲

Not so much. It's just that feeling of being "not normal" by default. I'm completely fine with it now, but in my early 20s it was a journey. Sometimes I get that throwback feeling when small things like that happen. I have to reorient myself to realize what my exterior is, and how I am being perceived.
