It's not quite that simple. Yes it needs a battery, but it also leaks fuel (pouring out), needs a coil pack that fell out, and runs like something is grinding while in park.

When I get the battery back in it... and a coilpack in there, I'll start it on video to see if it makes crazy noises again... it also appears to leak fuel. It's got a lot of little problems that need fixing.

@@TheCopCar ohhh okay yea I just had to rebuild my transmission I lost all forward gears coming home on the train tracks but its in just have to connect everything back but the weather been bad with rain like crazy LOL

I'm glad you didn't toss yours when the trans quit. The Impala started having slipping, so I got it fixed years ago. I definitely don't want to "throw this car away" either because it's not a bad car, it's just ugly and needs love. If I can't figure it out, I'll probably drop a new engine in it. I've always wanted a "blue" Crown Vic... so I might turn it blue too.
